Yes! Defending With Powers is ubercool... too bad it only shows Power Dodge and Power Parry, but catching the tail end of the Richochet rules is a plus.

(Now that people actually have the book, I feel no need to avoid admitting to having playtested it, so I can just rejoice in the glee of what a freaking cool book this is. You know how cool you think Powers is? It's cooler. Seriously. You so need this book.)

Not a secret -- I just didn't want to deal with PMs asking for the kewl n3w r00lz. Not a big deal, but you may notice that I was careful to couch any comments on new rules in the form of speculation. It's just less hassle that way.

Yeah, but nobody reads the fine print or Playtesters line except for playtesters eager to know whether we got a free comp or not. :)

Not only did I pre-order Powers, I opted for a shipping method that costs more than the book. I want this book now, dammit!

So far the watered down John Byrne era Superman has ST 145 480. I'm really needing the new super-lifting rules here.

The Superman in the new All-Star Superman can lift 200 quintillion tons, which is worse than you Americans think because the writer is British, which means that's 200 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 000 tons. I'm not even gonna try to work that one out.
