Default Some questions regarding the Mate Card

Read through the rules and the FAQ, and still had some things I wanted to clarify on combats that include the Mate card.

The Mate card is like a wandering monster, in that you need to deal with it separately.

For example, if you are a Wizard and Charm the original monster, the Mate card is not charmed as well.

But if you are facing a Floating Nose and it's Mate, and use a potion of Halitosis, would both the original card and it's Mate be killed? Or would it be one card = one monster killed?

Since the Mate card is not exactly a monster, it seems like you can not target it with Monster Enhancers directly. Instead it duplicates any enhancers from the original card, regardless of order played. So, for example, if a Wizard Charms the original monster, then the Mate card will have any Enhancers played before Charm was used, but after that point, no new Enhancers can be played on the Mate.

Or can Enhancers be played on the Mate card directly, which would allow players to have an Enhancer on the Mate card that was not affecting the original monster.

Also, can abilities like Charm target, or items like the Pollymorph Potion target the Mate card?

In short, all the questions are to see if what differences there are in dealing with a Mate card instead of a the standard monster card.

Sorry that the formatting is not the best, had to rush the post during break
