Okay, here's a question: if you could add any 10 pts to your own real-life character sheet (as it were), what would you get?
Let's keep it real, so no Magery, Serendipity, or the like. Last edited by Joe; 11-30-2012 at 10:44 AM. |

Independent income 10.
I am at Struggling Income now (despite an average job), and so I'd get 1000 a month. I could take a little more time off each week.

Resistant to Disease at the highest level allowed, with the leftover points put into a Talent or skills.

That's why I went with Independent income. It can give em time to get rid of disads.
Now Moloch's Charisma is a good buy as well. But Why go with Charisma? Take "Handsome" (Assuming we are average). +4/+2 and people will bow to you. Then you take their money! Then you use the money to get rid of disads! Then you WIN!

Independent Income 10 is hard to beat. Earning 10% of financial assets every month would just about quintuple my income.

For myself, I was actually thinking about languages.
I've always wanted to read in Classical Chinese, but my experience is that it's very difficult to get training in it unless you're already pretty fluent in a modern Chinese language, usually Mandarin. And acquiring fluency in both those is going to take me years and years and years... So I'd be tempted to take: Mandarin Chinese (fluent spoken, fluent written) (6) Classical Chinese (fluent writing.reading) (3) And then throw in Cultural Familiarity (China) (1) to make sure I'm not screwing things up for other reasons. This 10pts would save me long, long years of practice! |
