Default Official rulings requested

There are a number of wording questions on cards I need clarified. For example, on the Transferal potion, it says "Any other player (your choice) fights the monster(s)..." Does this mean the person who plays the Transferal Potion can't make the monster(s) fight himself/herself, which would make it useless in a two-player game?
Also, in a blender game, how many levels does an Orc Samurai get if he faces the Kali at level 6 and wins by over 10? In particular, would he win? What about a level 5 Orc Samurai?

"Any other player" refers to any player other than the one whose turn it is. Therefore, you could play the potion on someone else's monsters to fight them yourself.

Kali is a Level 20 worth 2 levels correct? If so, then an Orc Samurai could gain 4 levels from killing it as long as you do defeat it by more than 10; 2 levels from the monster itself, 1 from the Orc power, and 1 from the Samurai power. You could win from this at level 6.

To be clear, the Orc Samurai would need a combat strength of at least 31 to get both extra levels when fighting Kali (which is a Level 20 monster). That assumes that at least two of the Items contributing to the +25 bonus are weapons so that Kali doesn't get the bonus listed on her card as well. The Level of the Orc Samurai needs to be 10 or less to get the Samurai bonus level, which is pretty much a given (unless you are playing Epic Munchkin or something else allowing you to go above Level 10).

However, re-reading your question, I think you are confusing something. Orcs get an extra level when their combat strength (i.e., Level + bonuses) is over 10 higher than the monsters' combat strength. Samurais get the extra Level when the monster they defeat has a Level that is at least twice theirs. There's a big difference between the two abilities in terms of what you compare to each other.

I don't think there's any confusion at all. I think the issue is whether one would get all the Levels as reward at Level 6 since the winning Level is not specifically rewarded by these abilities. However, since all these Levels are a part of killing a Monster, they would be good for the winning Level, as they meet the general rule about winning the game.

I said OFFICIAL rulings. That means Andrew. I wouldn't be surprised if I don't get a reply for several days from him.

My rulings are official. Please take a chance to read the sticky thread entitled Critical Links & Useful Information -- READ ME FIRST!!!, the first post of which includes a description of who I am, and why my posts are official. I would also recommend that you look at to whom you are responding next time, since talking such as you did to a moderator could find you infracted or otherwise. I'm giving you a warning, this time, that rude talk to a moderator is not generally taken so lightly.

Surprise! You're getting one now. MunchkinMan has been giving official Munchkin rulings longer than I have, and his reply here is correct (as usual).

I strongly encourage you to read the "READ ME FIRST" thread he linked to; it may save you further embarrassment.
