Default familiars template help.

I am running a fantasy games with 175 pt PCs and I am having trouble getting the price for the familiars down. Chaos Familiars made by Chaos Mages who use threshold-ritual magic and are made from a mix of primordial chaos and there masters blood. when they are unsummoned they live in a pocket Plane inside the Chaos Mages soul. when they die they return to this Plane and if the mage doesn't do a 30 min ritual with in a week then they and the Plane are gone forever. this is the template so far but i would like it if it where cheaper.

An unkillable familiar should be expensive.

You could buy down stats as part of the template (ST-5 for -50 points, IQ-2 for -40) to get the price back down closer to zero. After all, familiars are often depicted as smaller and weaker than a typical human.

yea.. i hoped there would be a different answer than that. although when i look at the template the Unkillable dosent have that the ritual needs to be done within a week. would a -5% be fair?

GURPS Power p.70 puts Regeneration (Unkillable 3 only) as a -40% limitation.

So Regeneration (Fast; Unkillable 3 only, -40%) is [30]

Though you might not want that if they also need to recover fast from non-fatal incidents.

If you're open to changing the special effect, how 'bout adding the disadvantageous (Always On) version of Shadowform?
