Default Spell Default Rule?

Is there a way to implement the alternate Spell Default rules that appear on Magic 202 in GCA? At present it does not allow me to decrement a spell to 0 points, as it does with skills, so that it displays that skill at a default level. I don't see a setting in the Program Options that would turn this on, and I don't see an alternate GDF that would be used in place of the normal Magic file.

Apologies if this has been answered before, but I couldn't think of a good way to search for it that returned any useful results.

I don't recall this coming up before. Theoretically, there's no reason this couldn't be implemented, however so far it hasn't been. Realistically, while the defaults could be implemented in data files, they are so mind bogglingly over-complicated as to be almost impossible to implement in the data files, so would have to be implemented on a program level.

Yeah, I kind of figured that might be the answer. I can't imagine the payoff is so high that it is likely to get to the top of the priority list anytime soon--especially if I'm the first to ask about it on here since the release of GCA4. It isn't a huge deal--it probably won't come up so often in my own game anyway that we can't just look it up and figure out the defaults manually. It just would have been nice if the program could do it for us when it did. Ah well.
