Re: Art for games
Trying to finish up my orcs. I am mostly just making the mooks now.
These guys are clearly not the cream of the crop. Also did a new PC, a holy warrior. The great sword looks a little Paizo to me, but it is (I think) a 5 foot long blade at scale. For anyone interested in doing something like this, here is what an orc factory might look like. |

Orc factories don't have strict safety procedures, I guess!

Some of the greatswords hit over 6' overall, with about 18" to 24" of hilt, and another similar of false hilt past the quillons. They CAN be wielded 1-handed, by exceptional individuals. I've seen the late Sir Kyslon, KSCA, wield a 5' 6" overall rattan sword 1-handed. It actually is heavier than a 6' steel blade... And it was not weak hits. Rung my bell quite loudly. He was over 6', and well muscled. So it isn't "ridiculous" - suboptimal, yes, but ridiculous? no. |

Re: Art for games
I was trying to convey that he is about to grip with both hands, but it just looks like he is wielding one-handed and trying to calm everyone down.
Getting tired of orcs, cannot wait to move on to something else. Anyway, some more pics: The Fonz Old Lady Tough Lady Plate Mail Guy Tall Lady Gladius Lady |
