Default are Forces destroyed by Celestial Combat, or merely torn away?

Is there Canon anywhere on whether Forces are destroyed or not? It is an important question for the War - if shredding a demon's Forces simply returns those Forces to Hell to reform as new demonlings, then combat cannot win the War.

On the other hand, if they are destroyed, using the Celestial Song of Machines in some nukes could solve things rather quickly.

The Core Rules rCelestial Injury and Death, p67: Celestial combat destroys the Forces that make up the soul....[without Celestial Forces] His “corpse” will shimmer, dissolve and fade back to the Symphony whence it came.

Forces seem to dissipate back into the symphony.

thank you!

Hmm, seems like the "use CelMachines on nukes and set them off in enemy ethereal Domains/celestial realm" is the way to go then....

Of course there could be risks. Some of the various modern gods of atomic weaponry must have an ethereal presence by now. If all the forces end up going to Atom Bomb, the Dread Destroyer, whose avatars are Nyaralthotep and Robert Oppenheimer....

A good example of why it matters, whether the Forces are destroyed or recycled!

Yeah. Congratulations on nuking a third of Hell. God and Satan would both like a word with you. Just as soon as they can spare any attention from preventing the mutants of the new celestial realm of Aftermath from pulling the same trick on both Heaven and the rest of Hell and giving their master [all] the celestial forces in Creation....
