Ah right, I guess that does fall under domestic intelligence.

Yep, and the broad category is usually referred to as Security Intelligence (the others being Human Intelligence, Signal Intelligence, Geo Intelligence, and Defence Intelligence).

Well, it says that every soldier should be willing to follow orders. Not that the soldier must follow orders....

I just looked and it is in my 3e Compendium.

Thank you very much for the intel on the 3rd edition. As for the disadvantage, I still think that it is not convenient, because it limits her actions.

I would like this character to be an expert in HumInt.

So far, I've managed to develop up to seven different character concepts. Characters are worth approximately 400 points. 200 skill points, 80 debuff points, between 210 and 220 attribute points, and about 60 or 70 advantage points. I am not going to publish the templates because it would take up a lot of text, but here are the ideas in summary, including the top skills:

They all have a score of 17 in their primary and secondary firearm, and between 14 and 15 in martial arts, knife, anti-armor weapons, and artillery, all other skills on the book are at the bare minimum for their templates (Although some have several professional competencies [MOS] in order to raise some skill to the minimum, or by 1), and all of them have received training for combat on Sea, Air, and Land.

I believe that's the whole point of self imposed mental disadvantages.

Wouldn't the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment make more sense for a training place for this concept/person/PC?

Yep, or the 147th in Canada or any of various spec ops air wings around the world.

Also, the degrees don't make sense. Most of them appear made up or not really applicable, and if they must be Master's degrees, you have to wonder what rank the operators are, and what was the under graduate degree?

Indeed. Two cases in particular:

For shiphandling, being a licensed master mariner is far more applicable.

For espionage, academic degrees in the subject are for analysts and political advisers rather than operators. The SAS are not an espionage organisation, they're much more about shooting people.

I think so, but the brief annotation only highlights the character's unique skills, not its military background. Some members of the Delta Force receive training to fly helicopters.

I am trying to be descriptive, and I have decided to use the cards from the Spec Ops book for this. Would something like this be well understood, or would you add something else?

The reason for assigning master's degrees is that the skills score in the proper subjects is between 14 and 15.

So by the age of 17 the person has received 2 Masters degrees? And started the first one at age 13?
