Re: Warriors of Haunden
What's the range between Thad and the skeleton that attacked him? Can he step and attack this round? Or does he need to take a move action?

So Thad would need to move 2 yards to get anyone in attack range.

Finally get to deal out some punishment, instead of just taking it!

Re: Warriors of Haunden
I am running out of ideas here. If I try to aim a long time, I am likely to have my shot ruined by being hit, and dodging automatically ruins aim
I could try to get into melee range, which is 14 seconds of running. I am not sure how much longer Thad is going to last. Also need to either stow or drop bow to get shield out Continuing to all out dodge is better for staying not hit potentially and seems to be drawing fire Could potentially cut and run, but that definitely won't help Thad |

Re: Warriors of Haunden
Understood. We're greatly outnumbered, which is why I'm hoping Anoras can find and get to the captives before everything is essentially over. If she can free some of them, maybe we'll have a chance.
My hope is the captives (our people) are closer to where we were than the group the two of your are fighting. Then Anoras can reach them soon. Frankly, it seems quite likely to me the captives would be closer. It's typical to have people watching from behind their captives so the guards can keep an eye on them. It's true in modern-day transport, a prisoner may be kept in back of a motor vehicle. But in modern day, the captor's vehicles have mirrors so the captors can easily watch the prisoners. And the doors are locked. And the vehicle is traveling a lot faster than walking speed. So even if a prisoner did somehow escape, they'd be "escaping" out of a fast-moving vehicle and would almost certainly be injured or even killed. But with our situation with people on foot, I think our enemies would want the prisoners in front. At least that's what I'm hoping!

Re: Warriors of Haunden
(Posted 22 March 2024)
(Postsed 25 March 2024) I understand this is play by post. Things won't move as quickly as playing in person, or in a website where we're all logged in and playing at the same time. But it's now been over a month since I've done anything beyond posting Anoras' thoughts, thinking up questions so I have something to post, etc. Recently, it's taken three days for Anoras to move up one (1) second. With 31 seconds before she is expected to arrive, it could be an additional three months before I actually get to play. I have been checking here at least once a day. There doesn't seem to be a good reason to do that. So I'll ask the GM ericthered to email me when Anoras has something to do. Thank you.

I understand. This is a weird situation. Hopefully I'll be sending you an email in a few weeks.
