It's not like he's faking. I'm sure Goliath's is far better with that sniffer, but Peter does have Tracking-13.

Which indicates the poorness of the undeclared roll I made for him. You're also not actually tracking his route: just moving towards him.

Now that you mention it, probably better to have the men flank out to surround the creature if they can manage it.

Peter will move in and encourage a nonlethal take down if possible

The beast stirs as they move into position. Peter was given a large stick with a wooden point, but Luitwin wants him to stay close to Helmut and "not try anything reckless. You're a tracker, not a soldier".



The archers open up with arrows almost immediately, with one arrow striking true. The beast has not recovered from any of last night's injuries. It funs for a gap between Luitwin and an archer. Luitwin stabs at it as it passes, drawing more blood. The beast turns to fight, outside of the circle now.



Luitwin: "A few more arrows should do it!"

Peter takes hold of the net and charges up and swings it wide at the creature with both hands!

We never resolved if Peter got a net or not... Luitwin only grabbed ropes. Peter doesn't have knot-tying (revoke his eagle!) but he should be able to scrounge a net from somewhere... though its probably something someone uses during part of the year, and it won't be a weaponized net.

You clearly stated your intent to get a net, we can go ahead are retroactively play that out.

The Net skill only defaults from cloak. Also Peter doesn't have or know how to make a weaponized net, so its improvised at best.


Doesn't mean he can't put himself out there and make a point though!
