Ah, I see.
Although I assume her stats would be quite different as the Phoenix.

Maddy is a tragic character, but she's not a Year One character by any stretch of the imagination; she's not likely to show up. If I was not statting an entirely new timeline, she'd be on my list.
Okay.
That's a shame, it would have been nice to see that.

Psylocke may eventually show up, but she'll likely be a secret agent for STRIKE, the UK version of SHIELD. Kitty at this time will be a student at the Xavier Institute; I have her (and Lockheed!) slated for covering the Institute's student body when I get around to doing the anthology "title".
Sounds good.
Do you have a lot of characters ahead of her?

Oh, do you know about the expanded Weakness and Resistant rules from Pyramid?

If you don't know, the expanded Weakness rules (from Pyramid 3/58) has the Quickened enhancement, which is basically Reduced Time, as well as the Resistible limitation, which when exposed to your weakness allows you to roll against HT or Will (chosen when you take the limitation) and success means no damage, for -50% cost. The roll can get a +1 bonus for a extra -10%, with a maximum bonus of +5.

The expanded Resistant rules (from Pyramid 3/97) have immune for x1 cost, +14 for x4/5, +12 for x2/3, +10 for x3/5, +8 for 1/2, +5 for x2/5, +3 for 1/3 and +1 for x1/5.

I didn't see it in your work, and thought that you might not know about it, and that it could be useful for you.

ARAÑA

Real Name: Aña Corazón.
Occupation: High school student, part-time superhero, part-time child-sitter.
Identity: Secret.
Legal Status: Dual citizen of the United States and Mexico with no known criminal record; still a minor.
Other Aliases: Anya Corazon, Spider-Girl, "little spider", Arañita (a nickname given to her by her father.
Place of Birth: Santa Barbara, California.
Marital Status: Single.
Known Relatives: Gilberto "Gil" Corazón (father); Sophia Araña Corazón (mother, deceased).
Group Affiliation: Occasional partner of Spider-Woman.
Base of Operations: Canoga Park, Los Angeles, California.
History: Aña "Anya" Corazon was raised by her father, Gil, an investigative reporter, after their mother died in a fire while residing in Mexico City. According to an account by her father, Anya's mother, Sofia, had been a costumed hero in the city, but was shot and killed by a crimelord while at home; said crimelord then burned the house down. Anya was six at the time, and only vaguely remembers the funeral.

Not long after, Gil moved him and Anya to Canoga Park, Los Angeles, California, where Gil took a job with the Los Angeles News Group, often working long hours while investigating and exposing the city's organized crime syndicates. Despite that, he was always there for Anya when she needed him, and she for him.

Recently, Anya found herself developing powers which appeared to match those of various others who had taken on spider-themed identities both recently and in the past. At the same time, she began to see her mother in her dreams, urging her to embrace her destiny.

That destiny came sooner than she thought. During a school field trip to the Los Angeles Natural History Museum, the museum was attacked by a group known as the Sisterhood of the Wasp (see Sisterhood of the Wasp). According to the leader of the Sisterhood's strike team, the Wasps had detected two of what they referred to as "totems", supers whose powers reflected and were in some way linked to an animist spirit; in this particular case, both totems were spider-totems. Anya was attacked by the Sisterhood's "drone" soldiers – seemingly identical men in suits who never said a word – only to be saved by Spider-Woman; Spider-Woman had been at the museum in her civilian identity of private investigator Jessica Drew, and was one of the two totems the Sisterhood had detected (see Spider-Woman). During the fracas, Anya was temporarily knocked unconscious, at which time her vision of her mother warned that the Wasps were after her as well, as Anya was the second spider totem. Sofia revealed that while living in Mexico she had opposed the Wasps as a spider totem, and that Anya had inherited her spider-powers. Upon waking, Anya saw the Wasps about to kill Spider-Woman and sprung into action to save her. At the same time, her tattoo flared and covered her with a light-blue carapace Calling herself by her mother's maiden name, Araña – perhaps not ironically the Spanish word for "spider" – Anya came to Spider-Woman's defense, and the two forced the Sisterhood's "drones" to flee.

As Araña, she has become Spider-Woman's part-time partner; while the press has referred to Araña as Spider-Woman's sidekick, Anya and Jessica see each other as colleagues, and have shared their histories with each other. Araña has spent most of her summer "interning" for Jessica's private investigation firm. Despite Anya's best efforts, Gil Corazon soon learned that Araña was Anya; however, both have decided that it is probably best for Anya to not attend any superhuman-oriented high school, such as San Francisco's Champions Academy or New York's Xavier Institute for Gifted Youngsters, instead keeping Anya in her usual school in Los Angeles (see Champions Academy; Xavier Institute).

Anya occasionally works as a child-sitter, minding younger children for various single parents. Among her charges is Evie Blake, the daughter of Eden Blake, who is secretly the adventurer sorceress Mantra (see Mantra). At present, neither Eden nor Anya are aware of the other's secret identities, despite both answering the call to assist the superhero community when the Zodiac Cartel raised a force dome around Manhattan (see Zodiac Cartel).
Age: 15.
Height: 5' 3".
Weight: 115 lbs.; (with carapace) 123 lbs.
Eyes: Brown.
Hair: Brown.
Other Distinguishing Features: Araña has a blue tattoo in the shape of a spider on her right upper arm.
Uniform: White sleeveless t-shirt with a red spider logo, black spandex leggings, black fingerless gloves with red padding over the knuckles and a set of pouches around the wrist, black sneakers with red trim and laces, red belt with a silver clasp and red pouch, black choker with a red gem, and goggles with yellow lenses in a black frame. Carries a red knapsack with red pouches on the straps.
Strength Level: Araña possesses superhuman strength, enabling her to lift (press) roughly five tons. As she is not yet fully grown, it is believed her strength will grow over time, potentially matching or even exceeding Spider-Woman's ability to lift (press) 10 tons.
Known Superhuman Powers: In addition to her superhuman strength, Araña possesses superhuman reflexes and agility. She is able to perceive bullets in flight and is quick enough to dodge them. She is able to adhere to most surfaces with her hands and feet, even through gloves and sneakers. She also possesses a kind of danger sense which often warns her of trouble. Her leg muscles enable her to perform a standing high jump up to 25 feet.

Araña's spider-tattoo on her arm is composed of a light blue metal that's been referred to as a kind of organic steel; when she wills it, the tattoo forms a red and blue carapace which covered most of her body; she is able to alter the coverage as she requires. The carapace is strong enough to withstand most conventional police and military rifles, as well as advanced laser rifles; it is probably not strong enough to protect against anti-tank weaponry.
Other Abilities: Anya possesses a sharp and inquisitive mind. She was also a skilled gymnast and athlete before her powers manifested, skills which were only enhanced by her powers. In addition, she is knowledgeable in mechanical and electrical systems, enabling her to design and build her spider-bola.

Anya is bilingual, being fluent in both English and Spanish.
Paraphernalia: Araña uses a home built spider-head bola which she can use as either a grappling hook or as a weapon to trip and entangle opponents. The bola has a 100 foot spool of high-tensile wire which can retract into the head as needed.
Limitations: When armored up in her organic steel carapace, Araña will panic if even partially submerged in water. She does not suffer this affliction when the carapace is not active; whether this is related to her being one of the spider-totems is not currently known.

Role-Playing Notes:
Perhaps because of her upbringing, Anya does not take crap from anyone. She tries not to jump to conclusions, but she tends to be stubborn on a position until someone can convince her otherwise.

Design Notes:
1. Anya is Poor because her father as a journalist possesses Struggling Wealth and she lives on an allowance and pay from her sitting jobs.
2. I'm not quite sure just yet whether her father counts as a low-frequency Ally or Patron, a Dependent, or both.

MANTRA

Real Name: Lukasz; legally Eden Freeman Blake.
Occupation: Sorceress, law enforcement officer, former warrior.
Identity: Secret.
Legal Status: Citizen of the United States with no criminal record.
Other Aliases: Over the past 1500 years, Lukasz has possessed thousands of people, assuming their identities. Some of Eden's friends call her "Eeds".
Place of Birth: Los Angeles, on Earth-93060 (Eden); unrevealed (Lukasz).
Marital Status: Divorced (Eden); widower (Lukasz).
Known Relatives: Gus Blake, Sr. (Eden's ex-husband); Gus Blake, Jr. (Eden's son); Evelyn "Evie" Blake (Eden's daughter); Marinna (Lukasz's wife, deceased); Marinna II (body inhabited by Thanasi, alias Necromantra, daughter), Barbara Freeman (Eden's mother).
Group Affiliation: (as Eden Blake) SHIELD, formerly Aladdin of Earth-93060 and Earth-95050; (as Mantra) associate member of the Order of Kamar-Taj, ally of Ultraforce of Earth-93060 and Earth-95050; (as Lukasz) former member of the Twelve Knights of Archimage of Earth-93060.
Base of Operations: Los Angeles, California, on Earth-93060, Earth-95050, and Earth-Reboot.
History: Approximately 1,500 years ago on Earth-93060, the warrior Lukasz was one of twelve knights who pledged their service to the wizard Archimage to combat his rival, Boneyard. During the intervening centuries, Archimage used his magic to transfer the minds and souls of the twelve to other bodies upon their physical deaths, displacing the minds and souls of the bodies' original inhabitants. Lukasz spent 1,500 years fighting the war from the shadows, working closely with three other knights – Yaron, Thanasi, and Hamath – until the day Thanasi betrayed the knights to Boneyard. While most of the twelve perished and Archimage was captured by their enemy, Archimage in a last ditch effort transferred Lukasz into the body of Eden Blake, a divorced woman with two children. Lukasz was given a charm by Archimage's assistant/familiar, Katinya, which provided him/her with mystic armor, a mystic cloak, and a magic sword – the Sword of Fangs – which could be summoned at will. Before she died of accelerated old age, Katinya explained that Eden had been born with the potential to become a powerful sorceress, and that Lukasz would need to learn magic to defeat Boneyard. To assist him/her, she told him to use a mantra: "Change. Growth. Power."

These changes did not set well for Lukasz, but events moved quickly enough to not give him him/her time to adapt. It wasn't long before Thanasi's treason was discovered. Due to a misunderstanding by bystanders of a comment Lukasz made during their fight, Lukasz as Eden was given the name Mantra by the press. Mantra became one of several "Ultras" (as Earth-93060's superhumans were called) to operate in the Los Angeles area. Lukasz eventually learned Boneyard had given Thanasi the ability to leap from body to body and, as Mantra, fought him several times.

Lukasz, forced to actually live Eden's life rather than cut all ties with his body's life as he'd done for fifteen hundred years, was never comfortable being Eden. As Eden, she joined the government agency called Aladdin, an agency charged with monitoring and controlling Ultras; Lukasz joined the agency to keep an eye on them and to subvert it from within should it become necessary. She also gained several friends in the Ultra community, although she turned down an invitation to join a newly formed team dubbed Ultraforce. During one confrontation, Lukasz was forced to reveal to Eden's daughter Evie that Eden was Mantra.

After several months, Lukasz learned that Eden's mind and soul still inhabited her body, and over time as they met in their shared headspace, the two fell in love. Determined to give Eden her life back (and return to being a man), Lukasz used his connections with other Ultras to arrange the creation of a "wetware" (cellular nanotech native to Earth-93060) body which resembled his original body. When his mind was transferred from Eden's body to his own, intending for Eden to return to her body, her body was hijacked at the last moment by Thanasi. Thanasi, calling himself Necromantra, fought the restored Lukasz before they were transported to a ringworld of both science and magic called the Godwheel (see Necromantra). While on the Godwheel, Lukasz and various allies managed to drive Thanasi from Eden's body and put an end the threat of Boneyard. In their proper bodies for the first time in over a year, Lukasz and Eden celebrated New Years Eve and shared an intimate encounter while discussing how to return to normal lives.

However, their plans immediately went awry. Eden ended up nine months pregnant overnight with their child, who proved to be possessed by Thanasi. Thanasi aged the child to adulthood almost immediately after birth, becoming a "new" Necromantra. Kidnapping Evie, Thanasi attempted to kill both Eden and Evie to absorb their magic potential (Eden's son, Gus, was deemed by Thanasi to have no potential of his own). Eden and Lukasz sacrificed their lives and happiness to stop Thanasi's plans; Lukasz's recreated body died, but Eden chose to die so that Lukasz could again inhabit her body. With her dying breath, Eden asked Lukasz to always care for her children, which he swore to do. Evie had witnessed the whole ordeal and eventually came to accept "Mantra" as a substitute mother, although the two agreed not to let Gus know the secret as yet.

Not long after (or possibly slightly before) those events, Earth-95050 diverged from Earth-93060. On Earth-93060, during the event known as Black September, Lukasz transferred much of Mantra's power to the kids' teenage babysitter Lauren Sherwood when Gus was gifted with incredible psychic power, resulting in Lauren becoming the new Mantra. However, because the Black September event did not occur on Earth-95050, Lukasz as Eden continued to operate as Mantra.

During a later encounter with Necromantra, Mantra and Evie, along with Eden's son Gus and the shapeshifting heroes Prime and Elven, were caught in a dimensional warp, landing in a universe similar to but notably different from their own (see Elven; Prime). (Gus was both thrilled and upset that his favorite Ultra was secretly his mother; he still is not aware that Mantra is not really his mother's mind the way Evie is.) This dimensional warp was investigated by the sorcerer Doctor Strange and his allies Clea, Wong, and Topaz (see individual entries). Faced with overwhelming mystic opposition, Necromantra fled. Upon discovering the warp had closed, perhaps permanently, Strange used his magic to create legal identification for the four newcomers. Prime and Elven, in their teenage secret identities, were admitted to the Xavier Institute for Gifted Youngsters at Strange's recommendation, while Mantra, as Eden Blake, used her experience with Aladdin to qualify for entry into SHIELD as an analyst, with the intent of using SHIELD's own resources to find a way back to her home universe (see SHIELD; Xavier Institute). (Mantra is also wary of SHIELD Director Gyrich's Sentinels program, and is subtly feeding information on the program to Prime; see Gyrich, Henry Peter; Sentinels.)

Lukasz is currently dividing time between life as Eden and operating as Mantra, once again living in the Los Angeles area. She and Evie are currently spending every other weekend studying the magic of their present universe under the tutelage of Dr. Strange's master, the Ancient One, at his Kamar-Taj monastery (see Ancient One; Order of Kamar-Taj).
Age: over 1,500 (Lukasz); 31 (Eden).
Height: 5' 9" (Eden) (Lukasz's original and regrown bodies were 6').
Weight: 130 lbs. (Eden) (Lukasz's original and regrown bodies were 200 lbs.)
Eyes: Blue (Eden) (Lukasz's original and regrown bodies had brown eyes).
Hair: Black (Eden) (Lukasz's original and regrown bodies had brown hair).
Uniform: Metallic gold chest armor, white loincloth skirt, black opera gloves, black thigh-high boots with white trim, black hooded cloak with white trim, metallic gold belt set with a polished ruby, metallic silver mask.
Strength Level: Eden Blake possesses the normal human strength of a woman her age, height, and build who engages in moderate exercise.

Mantra (continued)

Known Superhuman Powers: Mantra is a sorceress whose power comes from two main sources. Most of her magic comes from manipulating ambient mystic energies (ecocentric magic), which she typically uses to manipulate the four elements (earth, air, fire, and water), phase through walls, turn invisible, fire bolts of eldritch energy, and create eldritch force shields. She is also proficient in the use of black magic, drawing energy from the unwilling to power her magic, often by killing small animals such as lizards. She does not like to use black magic, fearing she will become corrupted because of it. At present, she is still learning the basics of utilizing personal energies for various mental effects (egocentric magic) and calling upon extradimensional entities for various mystic effects (exocentric magic).

According to Archimage, Mantra will live for centuries. Whether this is because she will eventually learn to use magic to retard her aging or if sorcerers in her native universe naturally age slower is unknown. How that is affected by her migration across the timelines is also currently unknown.

Mantra has occasionally been able to increase her power by reciting her mantra – "Change. Growth. Power." – in her head or aloud. Most of the time this increase is temporary, but on several occasions the power increase has been permanent.

Mantra's native (Ultraverse) magic has one serious limitation: If a mage speaks her true name ("Lukasz") in her presence, her magic against that person and any resistances to that mage's magic are significantly hindered.
Other Abilities: Lukasz is a skilled warrior with over fifteen hundred years of experience. However, Eden's body lacks the muscle memory and strength to utilize these skills to their fullest extent. Lukasz is also a skilled investigator with an eye for detail.
Weapons and Paraphernalia: Mantra possesses the Sword of Fangs, a magic blade forged from the fangs of a dragon which is eternally sharp, able to pierce nearly any material, is unbreakable, and can change its shape to become a gold ring which can be worn as a bracelet. When carried by others, the sword can act as a compass leading its wielder to Mantra (or more accurately, Mantra's armor). It is possible the Sword of Fangs has other powers that have yet to be revealed.

Mantra's armor is bullet-proof, at least as far as conventional weapons are concerned. It also magically conforms to the wearer's shape.

Mantra's cloak acts as a gateway to a pocket dimension created by Archimage. The pocket dimension contains a castle which is filled with mystic artifacts and books on sorcery, the full extent of which has yet to be catalogued. She can also use the cloak to teleport great distances by traveling through its pocket dimension. In addition, the cloak can be used to intercept bullets fired at the wearer and redirect their paths to other

Mantra's mask acts as an amplifier of magic. Any sorcerer who wears the mask will have additional magical energy to draw from as well as being able to cast more powerful spells.

Role-Playing Notes:
Once obsessed with regaining a male body, Lukasz has grudgingly accepted that he has to live as Eden; s/he is still uncomfortable as a woman, especially around men who cannot see past a pretty face and an hourglass figure. Likewise, s/he's not quite sure how to handle lesbians who hit on "her". With the kids learning that their mother is Mantra, it has lifted a weight off his/her chest s/he did not really know was there.

Lukasz has fifteen hundred years of experience as a soldier (reflected in the Talents), but despite his/her actions as Mantra is still in many ways a novice in magic, with only second-hand information gleaned from Archimage and Katinya on the theory. Still, s/he is a fast learner, when s/he puts his/her mind to it.

Design Notes:
1. Earth-93050 diverged from Earth-93060/the Malibu Ultraverse just prior to the Black September event. In UltraForce v1 #8 (cover date May 1995), Dane Whitman/Black Knight crossed over from the mainstream Marvel Universe (Earth-616) to the Ultraverse. Earth-93050 is my personal designation for the Ultraverse that diverged when the Black Knight never appeared and Black September never happened. (Thor's and Loki's appearances in the Godwheel crossover are more likely to be the diverging point, but the Black Knight's appearance is the more notable point of divergence on Earth proper. That said, the Thor and Loki appearances can easily be chalked up to Ultraverse counterparts native to the Godwheel rather than the Earth-616 versions depicted.)
2. Oy vey, pronoun time! In many ways, Mantra was trans before trans was accepted, being a man's mind in a woman's body. However, I do not feel comfortable using "they" as a unisex pronoun (might just be my old age, though). In Mantra's case, I attempted to standardize with what would have been used in Mantra v1 during the early '90s before Marvel bought Malibu: "He" for Lukasz in his original and rebuilt bodies (as well as all the identities he used and discarded during the intervening 1500-ish years), and "she" for Eden and the combined Mantra identities, as the characters used in the comics. I hope this does not offend anyone.
3. I still need to stat up her cloak (worst case scenario, use the same stats as Devil-Slayer's Shadow Cloak), her armor, and the Sword of Fangs.
4. The price of Magery includes the cost of Magery 0 (Suffers Metal Penalties, -20%) [4]; it just looked weird placing them on the sheet together.
5. "Racial Memory (Long-Lived)" is courtesy of Christopher Rice's blog.

Once again, the bio came out longer than the character limit. At least this time I was able to squeeze the stat block in.

Also, Ultraverse fans rejoice! With this post, Prime and Mantra officially make the jump over to Earth-Reboot! (Though it may take some time to do Prime's sheet... Poor Kevin.) Also with this post I am retconning pretty much all the post-Marvel-buyout inter-imprint crossovers and Marvel-mandated changes.

VULCAN

Real Name: Gabriel "Gabe" Sommers.
Occupation: High school student (starting grade 12).
Identity: Gabriel does not hide his identity as Vulcan, although he has not yet gone fully public.
Legal Status: Citizen of the United States with no criminal record, still a minor.
Other Aliases: None.
Place of Birth: Unrevealed.
Marital Status: Single.
Known Relatives: None.
Group Affiliation: Xavier Institute student body.
Base of Operations: Xavier Institute for Gifted Youngsters, Salem Center, Westchester County, New York.
History: Gabriel Sommers's mother abandoned him at birth; he was apparently born in a Roman Catholic convent in the Catskills of New York, after which his mother left the convent after asking the nuns there to always take care of him. He was raised in their orphanage among the other children, but something about him – he blamed his eyes – led the other children to shun him. To hide his loneliness, he spent most of his free time reading in the orphanage library.

He was thirteen when his powers initially manifested. During a "game" of "smear the queer" in the playground, Gabe was once again the designated "queer"; the "rules" of the "game" were that the "queer" was tossed a football, and even if he threw it away the others would tackle him to the pavement and start punching and kicking him. Angered, his powers manifested, sending most of his tormentors to the infirmary and reportedly killing at least two of them. The injuries and deaths led to police involvement.

Fortunately for Gabriel, news of this incident reached Professor Charles Xavier, headmaster of the Xavier Institute for Gifted Youngsters, a school designed to teach young mutants and other superhuman teenagers how to control and use their powers while receiving a high school education (see Xavier, Charles; Xavier Institute).

Early on while at the Institute, Gabriel was one of the veritable army of students organized by Scott Summers to rescue Scott's brother Alex from the Living Pharaoh; this was the first instance of Gabe using the name Vulcan (see Cyclops; Havok; Living Pharaoh). During this incident, Vulcan proved to be unreliable and prone to rash action, ignoring all previously formed plans to instead directly assault the Living Pharaoh upon the latter's transformation into the Living Monolith. More recently, Gabriel was one of the first students to volunteer to defend the Institute from Xavier's stepbrother Cain Marko, the unstoppable Juggernaut, when the latter attacked the grounds (see Juggernaut).

Vulcan recently came into conflict with two of the more recently added students at the Institute, the extradimensional refugees Kevin Green and Elvia Swensen, when he asked the latter out on a date only to be turned down. He did not take the rejection kindly; in retaliation, he assaulted her, not knowing (at the time) of her alternate, Elven, nor her powers (see Elven). It took the intervention of Kevin, in his powered identity of Prime, and Xavier's telepathic admonishment to separate the two, with Vulcan half-heartedly offering Elvia an apology (see Prime).

Vulcan was the only student who vehemently refused to "sidekick" for Prime over the summer when asked (Kevin was both trying to mend fences with an older classmate and keep an eye on him at Xavier's request), although his own activities during the summer are unknown.
Age: 16.
Height: 6'.
Weight: 180 lbs.
Eyes: Red, no visible pupils; occasionally glowing yellow.
Hair: Black.
Uniform: As a student of the Xavier Institute, Vulcan trains while wearing the black bodysuit with red and black circle-X shoulder pads, yellow boots, and yellow belt with a rectangular red buckle styled with a black X that are standard issue to students. When operating on his own, he wears a red bodysuit with a blue-black upper chest and shoulders, blue-black gloves, gold boots, and a gold belt with a rectangular red buckle outfitted with a gold X.
Strength Level: Vulcan normally possesses the normal human strength of a man his age, height, and build who engages in intensive regular exercise. By channeling his power to manipulate energy, however, he is currently able to lift (press) roughly 80 tons.
Known Superhuman Powers: Vulcan can store and manipulate all forms of electromagnetic energy, including light, concussive force, heat, electricity, and gamma radiation. His most common uses are creating blasts of energy from his hands or eyes, or forming an aura of energy around himself. He can hover in mid-air by causing thermals underneath him to lift him up; by projecting energy beneath or behind him as he hovers, he can fly at speeds up to 400 mph. He is able to absorb all sorts of energy directed at him, using it to temporarily increase the raw power of his energy blasts. He has yet to use his power in more subtle ways; he potentially has the ability to create realistic 3D holograms or even solid energy constructs, but lacks both the patience and the imagination to do so.

Vulcan is immune to the environmental effects of intense heat and cold. It is theorized he can survive in the depths of space, though this has not been tested.

Role-Playing Notes:
Gabriel is highly unstable; he is the one student Xavier has deliberately left not fully trained in his abilities in an effort to prevent "creating another Magneto". He looks up to the X-Men and other graduates, and at the same time feels resentment toward them. He is also very egotistical, believing himself to be the most powerful student to attend the Institute, even more powerful than many alumni. As such, he tends to grow increasingly frustrated when things do not go his way. His finer control over his power dissipates as his anger increases, which has led to several presumably unintentional injuries among his classmates. He is currently voted the Least Popular Student and Most Likely To Become A Villain.

Inspired by books on ancient Rome, he idolizes Julius Caesar, notably Caesar's conquest of Gaul (modern-day France). He has the potential to become one of the best heroes or one of the worst villains the world has ever seen; only time will tell which way he matures.

Design Notes:
1. Okay, okay, I gave in and made Gabriel/Vulcan of the ill-fated retconned-in interim X-Men team as a student at the Xavier Institute. Note the spelling of his last name, however: "Sommers" rather than "Summers". He is not the Third Summers Brother; at best, he's a distant (due to a spelling change five to eight generations back) cousin; I'd prefer to have him unrelated entirely. In the Reboot, the "Third Summers Brother" will be Adam Neramani, son of D'Ken and Katherine Summers (Scott and Alex's mother), as originally intended with that plotline.
2. There are probably a dozen other ways to build his powers, notably with each variation in the Elemental Power Modifier as its own Alternative Attack. At least part of the problem is that the Official Handbooks and other sources only really state "energy" or at most "electromagnetic energy", which in game terms is a very wide selection. As it is, I'm not sure whether the Elemental Power Modifiers qualify for "Alternative Limitations" as described in Power-Ups 8: Limitations.
3. Yes, the intent here is that he's destined for villainy in Year Two or later. At others' urging, however, I replaced Megalomania with Overconfidence and stripped out some of his more brutish disadvantages that he picks up later.

So, yes, I'm going to work in the other members of that ill-fated retconned-in team; Petra will also be a student, Darwin and Sway will be alumni. (Darwin's going to be a PITA to stat up, eventually....)

Eventually I'll go through and stat up every Institute student and alumnus who showed up to fight Juggy. The to-do list for that event currently includes Shadowcat, Nightcrawler, Petra, Sway, Darwin, Sunfire, both Proudstar brothers, Angel's cousin Daria Worthington/Red Raven (an OC based on a canon char), and Iceman's sister Aurora Drake/Lightwave (a canon import from Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends), among others. Plus eventually statting Prime and Elven, brought over from the pre-Black September Ultraverse. Not to mention I still have folks in other titles to come up with bios and stats for!

I would think Adam-X would be harder to stat than Darwin. Darwin's powers are just a pool of modular abilities with some possible limitations like emergencies only, and only to save Darwin's life.

Destructive Parry is unnecessary if you have Aura.

I'm definitely not saying it's wrong, but this part seems weird for some reason.

Points don't matter, so it's a minor quibble, but Switchable seems very odd here. There's no downside to your ST being constantly active, and you can already limit yourself however you want strength-wise.

This makes my inner min-maxer cry. That's not a criticism. Just something I wanted to say.
