Default Enhanced Time Sense vs Opportunity Fire

Simple question (maybe):

If someone is covering a hex with Opportunity Fire and the opponent has Enhanced Time Sense, who goes first?

Opportunity Fire is a Wait, and Wait allows you to interrupt someone else's turn. ETS improves your mental speed, but not your physical speed.

I think the Opportunity Fire still goes first.

Which makes sense. But the Opportunity Fire also needs to "react" to the trigger for the wait, in which case ETS "reacts" first.

Which is why I'm asking the question :-)

So I don't know which way to go...

ETS lets you beat Wait, yes. It explicitly lets you dodge surprise sniper shots, parry bullets (provided you have suitable skills), and pre-empt Wait maneuvers. As soon as you have reason to believe something is wrong -- say, the first bullet is shot and you get your dodge -- you can act.

The fact you can react to a hidden sniper or someone waiting maneuver doesn't meant you "beat them".

You can react, roll dodge, block or parry but not attack them before they shoot.

As I see it, if someone hiding shoots you you can react because you detect the gun firing or arrow flying towards you with your ETS and can dodge, block or parry (if able), but the hidden character attack is already in motion, ETS don't lets you attack before you detect the attack.

If you can perceive the hidden attacker before they attack I can see that you are able to act (not just react) before them, thanks to ETS.

So, at least some perception roll vs the attacker stealth or camouflage in most "hidden sniper" situations.
