3-4: Mild distraction (you arrive just in time).
5-6: Major distraction (you miss the appointment).

Depending on the situation you face, you can use your skills to "change your outcome" (e.g. from "mild distraction" to "arrive on time").

@TMW Togosho misses two hours of sleep tonight HT (12) 16, he’ll have an additional episode of insomnia tomorrow; this won’t affect his encounter with Ziel.

Vanta wakes up at the first hour and gets to the meeting in time (rolled 2)

Bibingui and Vanta make it on time, they meet with Ziel at the elevator. Togosho is with them, but the receptionist stops Togosho. She tells him he’s got mail.

“Sir, a man of your kin left this letter for you”.

The letter is written in CHEUNH with exquisite grammar and a handwriting that leaves you in awe. Trappings aside, it reads:

“Come home, practically all, is nearly forgiven”.

You can find the seal of the KLURT family at the bottom of the letter, but it doesn’t have any name on it. The paper starts disintegrating a few moments after you break the seal. The letter itself makes your insides shake, as images of your past come to your mind. You remember your parents, and your… “escape”.

@TMW, you must roll against will-3 or mental strength -3 to carry on without losing much time. Failure means you miss your shot at CHOWBASA.

In a fortunate turn of events, the force rejuvenates Togosho and restores his missed sleep. On top of it, the Jensaarai Defender manages to resist the temptation of asking more about the letter, for now... maybe. For a visage of the past burns his memory and seeks to haunt him until the matter resolved...

The party makes a really good impression on ZIEL.
“Manners, I like it”, “If things run smoothly, this is where you’ll stay whenever you visit us”, says Ziel as she smiles at the group.

They all present their cards upon leave and board the "elevator".
“Please buckle up, I don’t want to get splashed by your guts or get hit by a loose hand of yours” …
She winks at the party and takes a sit.
Everybody sits as they did before, the guards are also there.
The seats turn, and now you give your back to the person that was at your right…

The machinery starts working and the elevator leaves… You see nothing, but black steel all around you.

It’s been 2 and half hours since you started moving.
It's quiet. Ziel is quiet, very quiet. Is she sleeping? The guards are calm as well.

You feel you are moving fast; you can tell from the creaking of the engines and a from the gentle push against the back of your seat it looks like you are going up. Sometimes you have the impression you are hearing the bustle of people. But you can't tell if this is really it, or if your mind is trying to break free from silence. The sensors in your equipment tell you the pressure is going higher, and little by little the temperature drops to a bone-chilling -45.5° Celsius. You are getting sleepy, please make a survival or an HT roll at -5, Togosho rolls at -3.

Before leaving the receptionist, Togosho asks if they can send him the surveillance video of the person dropping off the letter and if they remembered anything more about him besides that they were Chiss.

As they board the "elevator" Togosho asks Zeil...

"Where are we bound? Are you ready to explain a bit more about this champion situation?"

When Togosho starts to feel a chill in the air, he seals his suit and stays warm.

(I presume this would be before the temperature got to 10F when it leaves his comfort zone).

"Are you alright? I was born on an ice planet and raised in the mountains and if I'm getting a chill, you must be freezing." He says to his new colleagues.

When he notices the pressure change, he says to Zeil and the troops,
"There seems to be an issue with your support systems... If the pressure keeps going up, anyone without a sealed suit is going to get pressure sickness when this door opens."

Spoiler:  

The Cybersuit provides climate control (-459° F to 250°F), pressure support (30 atm.)

HT roll failed by 1 (...if he actually needs it).

What are we reading for pressure?

• Are the people without sealed suits in trouble from these levels?

Has the temperature change been constant?

• Togosho would want to investigate this long before the temperature got below zero...

Is there a data port in reach of Togosho's seat?

• If so, Togosho connects his secondary system (routing through a firewalled virtual sub-system) to the panel and runs diagnostics.

Has the trip been turbulent?

• Does it seem it would be dangerous to unstrap and take a look at the support systems, or whatever?

What size is the area of the compartment?

• Trying to determine the area of effect required to cover the cabin if I want to use the Force to turn up the heat.

The receptionist is eager to assist Togosho:

“Oh no sir, that’s against privacy policy. You’d need a judicial order for that… But I can describe the person for you, and tell you something of use”.

“The person had black hair, blue skin and red eyes. His clothes were similar to white robes with gold belts. The buckle had a symbol, it looked like this symbol”.

The receptionist draws the symbol for Togosho.
It’s your family’s crest.

When the trip begins, Ziel smiles at Togosho and tells him that…

“Champions are champions. You’ll find your answers once you reach your destination. Relax and enjoy the trip, but don’t relax too much (hah!). Anyway, regarding your questions the other day, you’ll have news on the debt matter.”

One of the guards notices you’re “nervous” and talks to you. His voice sounds cool as it has this “radio” filter most helmets have built-in: “RELAX BOI. If your jumpy things get bumpy. Don’t make it hard for us. It’s going to be colder, waaaaay colder than this”.

It doesn’t look like he’s got beef on you, it’s more like he’s been through this lots of time.

OOC:

Pressure is almost 2 atm, the pressure increases as the temperature drops. The changes are relatively constant, but you can’t tell if one change is related to the other. There are no data ports in your seats; there could be one in Ziel's seat (control panel), but you didn’t see any support systems, just the control panel with multi-coloured (unlabelled) buttons that looks like a “launch-pad-s”. The trip has been calm, quite silent. The volume 67.5 m3, the room is about 5x4.5x3 meters. (And yeah, you’ll need that HT roll.)

NOTE: The HT roll is not for this very moment, but PURR1T0’S action might help you in the future. Let’s see if the other players have something else to add.
