Re: Excel Character Sheet
Version 15.5 was just released. It is now possible to have weapons that don't subtract from attack skill value even if the weapon's ST requirement exceeds the user's ST.

Re: Excel Character Sheet
Version 16.0 was just released.
I changed the formulas that calculate the cost of traits depending on Self Control and Frequency of Appearance values; it's now possible to select any SC or FoA from 3 to 18, with these results: SC Cost modifier 18 x0 17 x1/6 16 x1/3 (2/6) 15 x1/2 (3/6) 14 x2/3 (4/6) 13 x5/6 12 x1 (6/6) 11 x7/6 10 x4/3 (8/6) 9 x3/2 (9/6) 8 x5/3 (10/6) 7 x11/6 6 x2 (12/6) 5 x13/6 4 x7/3 (14/6) 3 x5/2 (15/6) FoA Cost modifier 18 x4 (12/3) 17 x11/3 16 x10/3 15 x3 (9/3) 14 x8/3 13 x7/3 12 x2 (6/3) 11 x5/3 10 x4/3 9 x1 (3/3 = 6/6) 8 x5/6 7 x2/3 (4/6) 6 x1/2 (3/6 = 6/12) 5 x5/12 4 x1/3 (4/12) 3 x1/4 (3/12) I also added a color scheme for "setup" or "config" cells. These cells are editable cells, previously marked with green background color like the other input cells, but contain values that rarely should be altered during play, like Tech Level, skill difficulty and World gravity. A new "house rule" is added. If this rule is turned on, results of formulas in "Calculations" sheet are presented in metric units, if it's off, imperial units are used. I fixed a couple of small bugs, too.

Re: Excel Character Sheet
Version 17.0 was just released.
There were a couple of bug fixes, both in calculations and in color-coding. I added a column for containers, "Remaining Weight Until Medium Load", which calculates how much additional weight you can put on an animal before it crosses over to Heavy Encumbrance (which animals generally don't agree with). Also, I listed irritating conditions in Temporary Effects, for ease of use.

Re: Excel Character Sheet
Hello
Just noticed that the Tech level value cell ( Attributes - L2) is protected. Since it is an orange cell (setup values), I think it should be unprotected like the others orange cells ? As always, awesome work on that character sheet ! Always useful. |

Re: Excel Character Sheet
Also, for a character with Language Talent (basic p65), you may want to add a note that the discount should be inputed in the "Family Discount" column ?
Unless there is another way that I missed ? |

Re: Excel Character Sheet
Version 17.1 was just released.
Thanks to Celjabba for pointing out the erroneously locked Tech Level cell (fixed :)), and for suggesting implementation of Language Talent. Note that I chose another way to solve it, than what was proposed: Now, by merely having a trait called "Language Talent" (with that precise spelling), you get the appropriate discount when learning languages. This is also explained in the user manual, in the chapter for the Languages tab.

Re: Excel Character Sheet
Version 17.2 was just released, with a bunch of minor upgrades:
DR can now be entered as a "thing" modified by advantages, i.e. you can enter DR as a trait and have it included in armor calculations. You can also have temporary DR (in Current Status) and have that be included in said calculations. There are three variants, "DR", "DR (not crushing)" and "DR (crushing)". Some of the columns in the body part table on Armor sheet have been changed to setup cells, this includes columns "To Hit", "Random (3d)" and "Base Armor". For a non-human character, the values here could change. I recolored the Containers table. It's now a table of input cells, with some cells and columns marked as formula cells, instead of the other way around, which bugged me. I fixed an error in the Dodge formula. Max HP and FP can now be seen on the Current Status sheet. My wife asked for this what seems an eternity ago, but I didn't write down the request at the time and subsequently forgot it, and I just recently recalled it.

Re: Excel Character Sheet
Version 17.3 was just released. This was the Ally/Dependent release...
Point value for the character may be set to a percentage of another character's total. This can be implemented in a variety of ways, depending on the needs of the user.

Re: Excel Character Sheet
Version 18.0 was just released.
I implemented Encumbrance Penalty in Skills so it's directly added to certain skill scores. Encumbrance penalty is equal to a number assigned to each skill (e.g. -1 for Judo and -2 for Swimming), multiplied by encumbrance level (e.g. -1 for Light Encumbrance and -3 for Heavy Encumbrance). Also, there were some minor changes and corrections.

Re: Excel Character Sheet
Version 19.0 was just released.
The major new feature is the Ammunition table. This allows you to easily switch between different types of ammo; Acc, Range, Damage etc. in the Current Status sheet now combines the stats of the weapon and the ammo. I've also made some corrections to faulty formulas and removed thousands of unnecessary calculations to hopefully speed up the Character Sheet.
