People say GURPS is complicated. We often disagree with them, but then we don't even know how it works a good part of the time: I had to look it up myself to be sure. The weapons Acc and all bonuses from targeting aids (sights, targeting computers, et cetera) are all added at the first Aim maneuver. Ref: B364, Aim. Re: Examples of 4e Combat
Scopes(B412) a fixed power scope has to be aimed for at least as many seconds as the scope's bonus. A variable power scope can be aimed for less time, but the bonus is reduced.

Re: Examples of 4e Combat
This is why you should include a reference when offering corrections, considering we're running in "All Options On" mode. I hope my own failure to do so has not made my corrections wrong, but I'm fairly sure there are no special rules that change the Reach of a kick or the damage type of sniper rifles...

Re: Examples of 4e Combat
That was my bad for not including a page citation with the question, but yeah, B412 was what I was looking at. Sorry 'bout that.

Battlegrounds RPG comes to my mind. I'm gathering a collection of top-down tokens right now, and downloading the GURPS Dice Macros...

Re: Examples of 4e Combat
Okay, I've gone back through and rewritten the examples so that Torso is the default target unless otherwise specified - hopefully I didn't introduce any new errors in doing that.
I began a fourth Close Combat example using the same combatants from Close Combat Three, with the intention of this time having the unarmed fighter get carved up as he most likely would, but in the very first turn I began thinking about when exactly a disarm could occur in relation to a Ready maneuver, which resulted in the debate going on here: http://forums.sjgames.com/showthread.php?p=532405 Once the dust settles on that and I have what I think is a more or less "official" ruling, I'll pick up again. :)
