Bain stands up and witnesses the evolution of the battle: The elemental strikes an ant, which in turn attacks Vic, getting parried and killed in the action. Gathika stands up, with a thirst of blood and an appetite for destruction, as Telrith tries to get up.

And suddenly, Gathika and Vic race towards the monsters, eliminating another two ants.

Then Bain shoots, an ominous silence takes over that moment, announcing death’s decisive arrival; three arrows take flight from his bow, killing the remaining ants:

From two bodies you come, to the soil you go.

All of the arrows hit, inflicting 27,25 and 22 HP of injury.

Bain's triple shot leaves only 2 giant ants left in the swarm.

The two giant ants try to bite Vic again.
(Attack rolls; 10, 14. One potential hit. Vic Parries; 13. Hit! Damage roll:1 cutting to the torso, before DR. Injury?)

One ant gets its mandible onto Vic's torso, grappling him. Nevertheless less, Vic swings and hits the other ant, cleaving it badly enough to knock it out.
(Enemy defense roll: 12, failed, hit for 14 injury!)

Gathika rushes in to save Vic, stabbing the ant just under its head, causing it to pass out and release Vic from its clutches.

Combat over. All enemies are dead or KO'd.

Gathika rushes and stabs ALL OF THE ANTS to death.

SORRY ants, no soup today. COMRADES! It doesn’t matter if some are still alive (^≗ω≗^) I can stab them to death for the ELDERS with my sword!

Bain helps cleaning the mess, picks his arrows and then he makes the necessary amendments to the traps, taking his time in doing the "repairs" (for it is very simple traps). He also covers the traps, to prevent enemy detection.

He compliments Gathika for achieving "her first kill", and thanks the rest of the party for their great efforts.

Good job Gathika, the path to become a killionaire starts with the first kill of your own.

Vic sighs with relief when he sees the bite didn't penetrate his armour. There was something wrong with those things...
The party goes to sleep, dreaming of a world without ants.

DAY 6

The party spends the next day travelling through trade roads, much safer than what they were tangling with.
They even see the Keep in the distance, rising above the horizon, a testament to order and safety.

Eventually, the party camps as the dark falls. They'll reach the Keep early tomorrow...If the night doesn't get them first...

Vic rests and talks to the whole group (including the prisoner).

All these demons and monsters must come from somewhere, I reckon they could have a common birthplace, even our tied up friend could be a demon for all we know.
