Outlaw Class
Hey guys had a rule disagreement with the family.
For his Outlaws ability Dirty Rotten So-And-So "When Bad Stuff happens to a non-outlaw, go up a level. If he dies, the level you go up can be the winning level." Two questions on this. 1) if the non-outlaw loses the run away but the bad stuff is lose your headgear and the non-outlaw doesn't have any headgear so nothing happens does the outlaw still gain a level? 2)if the non-outlaw loses the run away to the monster "Sheep Ones" where the Bad Stuff reads "None. They may be the servants of the Dark Gods from Beyond Time, but they're still sheep." Does the Outlaw still get his level or no because the bad stuff is none? |

Re: Outlaw Class
I would say that if the Bad Stuff was None, or the Bad Stuff did not affect the munchkin in any way, then they did not suffer Bad Stuff.

Re: Outlaw Class
See and that is how I interpreted the card but their argument is the outlaw card says when bad stuff happens and the bad stuff is still happening it's just not doing anything.

Re: Outlaw Class
To me, the important part is "happens to" which means "affects".
So another way to read it would be "When Bad Stuff affects a non-outlaw..." So I too would agree if the player wasn't affected by the Bad Stuff, no level is gained. |

Re: Outlaw Class
In past topics on this type of subject, the experts here called it "Suffering Bad Stuff". If nothing happens to you, then you are not suffering...
