I could so totally use this book for a game I'm currently brainstorming! I'm assuming I'll be able to easily extrapolate the contents to cover a science fiction setting, as well, so I really can't wait to grab it and its companions.

How futuristic are we talking? I'm going to set my game in 2060 with cyberpunk, autoduel, Black Ops mix.

UNOFFICIAL MONSTER HUNTERS TITLE GUESSING COMPETITION

Rules:

The abbreviated titles for each upcoming Monster Hunters book are found below. For example, "Monster Hunters 2: TM" might mean that the actual title of the second book is "Monster Hunters 2: Tequila Mondays." (Hint: It's not.)

Participants must guess all four titles at once. Participants can guess as many times as they want, in the same post or in different posts. Participants must guess right here in this thread. Participants must not mind that I keep calling them "participants," which is pretty impersonal, when you think about it.

The first person to correctly guess all six words in all four titles wins . . . a major role in an upcoming vignette! Ideally, it'll be in a future Monster Hunters book, but if the line tanks and dies because everyone hates it, I promise to work you into another book somewhere. I reserve the right to use your virtual self however I want, including killing you off in gruesome and horrible ways.

This contest ends whenever we start leaking or announcing the actual titles. Or I may just change things when that happens. Who knows? I'm capricious like that.

This is not an official Steve Jackson Games promotion. This is just me having some fun. :)

Who Can Play:

Anyone who doesn't already know any of the titles! To be obvious, that includes SJ Games staff, anyone who helped me playtest, those of you on the secret mailing lists or forums where some of these titles were discussed, and so on. In other words, c'mon -- be fair. If you're not guessing, then you can't take part in the Guessing Contest.
