Re: In The Labyrinth (the story) - Discussions
So do you want editing as well as content suggestions?
Or do you do further editing afterwards?

Re: In The Labyrinth (the story) - Discussions
I have gone back and done some, little, editing.
I don't think there is a "future" for this work, in terms of publishing, so it is not easy to justify a lot of rework. But, does it work? I am not a professional writer, and I do not have a formal education in creative writing, so I wonder if I am making simple mistakes in story telling and I don't know it. |

I'm not a prof writer or even reader either.
I'll take a closer look, aside from enjoying a story set on Cidri.

Re: In The Labyrinth (the story) - Discussions
That brings up another concern I have - I keep mentioning things like the Thorzs, and Death Test style dungeons, and in my head the story is set on a "Cidri" inspired world, maybe somewhere north of the Thorzs kingdom, but am I taking too many liberties?
What are other elements of "The Fantasy Trip" that I could emphasize to make it more grounding in the lore? |

The various references you've already included are more than enough already — maybe even too much, to be honest, because I don't think it's particularly important to Cidrify your setting at all.

I did feel, at times, that I was hitting the references a bit too hard

Maybe I should have added only one at a time.
Anyway - thanks for reading. |
