Looking for the latest editions of GURPS basic set

I was checking the basic set with my friends, and I realized there are different versions of the it, I guess it’s because the authors/publishers made some corrections.

What are the latest editions of the basic set (printed and digital)?

I have the option of acquiring a second-hand basic set; do you think this would be worth it in terms of its contents?

I haven't heard of much in the way of errata changes past 5th printing, and I vaguely recall something about the current print being 7th printing (which was still on the way to the warehouse last time I'd heard but that was months ago or more).

But up through Characters 5th printing, and Campaigns 2nd printing, you can find the errata changes here: Basic Set info page.

That is for the current GURPS 4th edition.

Several updates in the 7 printing (of the 4th edition) (PDF and paper)

The main additions are the boxes about “Complementary Skills”, "Team Works" and the advantage gunslinger rewrite (also the First aid skill description is clearer).
None of them are very long, perhaps half a page all together.

The addition can be found in various books, but are nice to have in the basic set.
That said, nothing crucial would be missing if you get an older edition.

The title pages for the PDF previews on Warehouse 23 show the current version as 7th printing.

If you buy the PDFs through W23, you get updated versions for free.

I just bought a new copy of the Basic Set to replace my 17 year old one and the physical book is now at the 8th printing. I understand their is no real difference between the 7th and the 8th.
