Height: 5'4" Weight: 118 Attributes [90] ---------------------------------------- ST 9 [-10] DX 13 [60] IQ 11 [20] HT 12 [20] Hit Points 9 Will 11 Perception 11 Fatigue Points 12 Basic Lift 16 Damage 1d-2/1d-1 Basic Speed 6.25 Basic Move 6 Ground Move 6 Water Move 1 Social Background ---------------------------------------- TL: 8 Advantages [42] ---------------------------------------- Appearance (Beautiful) [12] Daredevil [15] Luck [15] Disadvantages [-18] ---------------------------------------- Compulsive Carousing (9 or less, *1.5) [-8] Impulsiveness (12 or less, *1) [-10] Quirks [-5] ---------------------------------------- Broad-Minded [-1] Congenial [-1] Doesn't Drink Water [-1] Thinks the occult is fun [-1] Thrillseeker [-1] Skills [75] ---------------------------------------- Carousing (E) HT+6 [20]-18 Dancing (A) DX+2 [8]-15 Diving (Swimming) (Tech/A) Swimming+3 [3]-15 Driving/TL8 (Automobile) (A) DX [2]-13 Driving/TL8 (Motorcycle) (A) DX-1 [1]-12 Occultism (A) IQ-1 [1]-10 Parachuting/TL8 (E) DX [1]-13 Sex Appeal (Human) (A) HT+6 [8]-18 Includes: +4 from 'Appearance' Sleight of Hand (H) DX-2 [1]-11 Streetwise (A) IQ-1 [1]-10 Swimming (E) HT [1]-12 Points Summary ---------------------------------------- Attributes/Secondary Characteristics [90] Advantages/Perks/TL/Languages/Cultural Familiarities [42] Disadvantages/Quirks [-23] Skills/Techniques/Spells [47] = Total [156] In a game, Vida is useful as a source of trouble. Her recklessness, association with countless dodgy people, recreational drug use, lack of a steady source of income means she gets into trouble frequently and she has no scruples about handing off her trouble to someone else. She's a living incarnation of a toxic manic pixie dream girl and meeting her can easily end up with a maguffin handcuffed to one's wrist or a dead body in one's bed. Also she isn't particularly good at slipping a mickey into a man's drink or picking his pocket, but makes up for it by using Sex Appeal to trash his perception. Re: Characters from Songs
A lady that pretty, with those carousing habits and impusles; probably should have at least a point of Brawling or Judo.
After all fending off wandering hands would with enough hours of practice would generate the required point(s).

Re: Characters from Songs
Either that or decent Diplomacy, Fast-Talk, or Intimidation skills. Of course, Sex Appeal skill might also include the art of fending off unwanted advances.

Re: Characters from Songs
Some quick partial ones, just noting the most notable aspects of the characters.
Johnny Musical Talent Overconfidence Musical Instrument (Fiddle) 25 Leroy Brown Reputation +4 (Baddest man in the whole damn town, Large Group, All the time*) Bad Temper Compulsive Gambling Lecherousness Brawling 14 Knife 14 Pistol 12 *This should probably be something like 14 or less, seeing as the "jealous man" apparently didn't recognize him but there's no indication he was from out of town, but Reputation goes from "No roll" to "10 or less" (50%) with nothing in between. And, finally Johnny (a different one) Green Thumb Resistant +8 (inhaled poisons) Overconfidence "Herb" Lore 25 Streetwise 14

Languages: Spanish, Armenian, Chinese, English, Farsi, Korean, Tagalog, Vietnamese, Yiddish, many Native American languages. Skills: Too many to list, but notably Area Knowledge (Greater Metro LA); Carousing; Current Affairs (Business, Entertainment, and Local News), Finance; History (Regional); Merchant; Performance; Photography; PS (Model, Sound Engineer); Sex Appeal; Singing; and Streetwise. A modern day avatar of the goddess Fortuna who manifests in the form of a gorgeous, well-dressed woman of possibly Amerindian or Latin descent. Her current human guise is that of a former actress, reality show performer, and singer turned music impressario, Lala Land. While she owns a massive 1920s era Art Deco style mansion in Beverly Hills, and another 1950s modern mansion in Bel Air, the center of her power is a 1900s era Mission Style low-rise hotel, built on the foundations of a much older building and heavily renovated in the 1960s and 70s. (The former wine cellar was remodeled into a disco in 1970, eliminating the hotel's once famous vintage wine collection. Complimentary chilled Dom Perignon Brut Rose is available in the guest suites, however.) It randomly manifests in the older parts of the county, always on the edge of a neighborhood trending between fashionable and downscale. Its exact appearance and state of repair depends on the current state of local affairs and Cally's state of health. This location has a hypnotic attraction to talented LA newcomers who are looking for fame and fortune, as well as a number of high-rolling music and film executives. Cally selects those who best serve her current needs, either trapping them in an endless cycle of partying at her hotel, or blessing them with useful advantages and sending them out to do her bidding. Periodically, she commands her disciples to return to her so she can feed on their wealth and creative energy to retain her power. Should one of her servants displease her, she can bestow powerful disadvantages or strip away advantages. Last edited by Pursuivant; 08-02-2022 at 02:07 PM. |

Possibly add Blessed, Higher Purpose (Play Fiddle), or Luck to "Devil Went Down to Georgia" Johnny.
