[SUPERS] Speedster template confusion

I am probably missing something abovious, but on p. 53 of GURPS Supers, the Speedster template has the following in the notes:

"For a street-level speedster, remove the optional abil-
ities and cut back most of the others; in addition, reduce Parry
Missile Weapons to DX.
For a much more powerful character, start by taking both
optional abilities."

From the way this is written, it looks like there should be two optional abilities to pick from, but the template just says to pick 338 points of abilities from Talent and the listed powers.

Could someone help me figure out what I am missing?

Should read: Take all optional abilities. It's only 387 points worth, after all.
