Gurps IRC Channel

At the suggestion of Kromm, I am posting this here.

For all IRC users (firefox users please note you can get chatzilla :D), there is a GURPS IRC channel on irc.sorcery.net #gurps

Please join, it's rather lonely in there with just 3 of us plotting evil abuses of lifting str and such. :) And if we get enough people, it might even prove possible to run games through it.

I honestly didn´t know IRC still existed. I used to use it a lot in the last days of the last millenium ...

I installed chatzilla, but there is no irc.goodchatting.com I can connect to. When I connect to undernet, there is a #GURPS with one Brubek and one FreeTrav in it ... is that the channel you are talking about?

In the [*client*] tab, type: /server irc.goodchatting.com

Give it a moment or two, then in the [irc.goodchatting.com] tab, type: /join #gurps

Then chat away with the rest of us.

Just downloaded Chatzilla and joined as Sharpe.

Cool, didn't know of chatzilla... it's been several years since I used irc... although last I used it, it was for a big RP game using GURPS :)

Science-Fiction; Space; Spaceships w/ fighters and a reason to use them; maybe some Science-Fantasy | Space-Opera thrown in for spice. Preferably a made-for-game setting rather than a pre-made, but a pre-made is workable.

I'm already involved in a Banestorm and Infinite Worlds game, so Fantasy and Police Drama would just encourage burnout.
