Re: Virtual Table Top programs for GURPS
I've been Gming with a group for over a year using Maptools & Skype for voice.
We think it works really well. |

Re: Virtual Table Top programs for GURPS
I didn't even know there was such a software.
This is pretty interesting stuff. I wonder if any ever tried to use a combo of forum-based RPG & then switch over to tabletop when everyone is available at one time (or something big or detailed such as combat is occurring). |

Re: Virtual Table Top programs for GURPS
Yes, that kind of setup has been heard of. Campaigns out there have even been planned that way from the beginning.

Re: Virtual Table Top programs for GURPS
As everyone knows - I've been using www.playbyweb.com for 12 years now.
Limited video and graphics capability, 24 hour a day realtime chat feature - Very limited mapping ability. It is free however. Until I can find 4 straight hours a week in my schedule for a store game or itabletop game - this is it. Good points are - play when you want to and will play on anything - even cell phones. |

Interesting. I'll need to join one of these games as
a player & try it out. |
