Default Not-So-Godlike Extra Effort

Anyone out there have other rules they use for Extra Effort beyond the standard?

I like Godlike Extra Effort but I've found they are just too much. My players tend to have high Will and big ER's, which translates to world/game-breaking feats.

I thought about a system similar to the Technique system, where players can just spend 1 fatigue/energy to remove -1 from their Will roll. Which basically translates to +5% per energy spent.

Another thought was just to put a limit on how much energy can safely be spent when using Godlike Extra Effort, similar to when using Draw or Conduct Power.

I thought about limiting it so that a player couldn't spend more than HT, Will, etc. per round on godlike effort. Or maybe even something like HT/2.

Anyone have rules they use?
