"X other thing, but really weird and built more on strange imagery and non-sequential or non-linear relationships between events and ideas"

Do you trust the Eternals?

Brutals: Either the fanatic Exteminators or the average subjugated citizens.

A revolt against the Exteminators and a revolt against the Eternals.

Someone should start a GURPS Zardoz thread... :)

Here's a review and analysis.

That's it, I'm going to watch Zardoz again today.

By the way, I'd cheerfully back a new GCA kickstarter. The current version is good enough, but it can be annoying, and I like what I've heard of the newer version.

How about a reprint of Martial Arts? If I'm going to spend $70 on a hardcover book, I'd like to at least get swag.

Hiring someone to make sure Steve doesn't stay after his workday is supposedly over.

I did re-watch it today after all. The wikipedia entry does it as much justice as the Cliff Notes do to any book, really. The details but not the enjoyment.

I need to write a post about all the game-able stuff in it.

Not the least:

- an explanation for extremely physically superior humans in a post-apoc world.
- telepathic mind blasting immortals with hidden agendas and plenty of subsurface infighting.
- a flying head dispensing weapons and speeches about eugenics.

It's pretty good stuff, even if it does show its 70s nature and 70s special effects (microorganisms proxying for DNA not the least of it.) You can pull a lot of game inspiration out of it. One of the Freeport modules for D&D 3.x did exactly that, actually, with a flying head spewing cursed berserking swords. Very gameable stuff in that movie.
