Minis for Classic Car Wars?

Hey swordtart,

That’s a good point you raise. I had forgotten that the electric cars were smaller than the gasoline ones. That actually does make all the difference, in terms of scale.

I printed three minis before I read this - not printed to any particular scale, I just wanted to see how they turned out - and I am pretty happy with the results.

Happy to share the image, if someone can remind me how to post pictures here. :) From memory, I need to upload them somewhere, then link to them in my reply?

FYI, Update #100 for the Pocket Box Kickstarter has pictures of the CW6e car miniatures printed from the STL files available as part of the current CARnage KS at 33%: Car Wars Classic Scale!

So there you have it, minis for Classic Car Wars, available as an actual current official product (resin-based 3D printer not included).

I do have to say that I like the SJG car wars kickstarter STL cars a lot, in the 1" scale.

[sigh] I need to find, or remake, the _CW_ minis I acquired in high school, from the Drafting Department's architectural-model catalogs. Cars; semis; 10-wheelers; boats; airplanes; all.

The fun part was explaining to the Drafting Teacher *why* we were ordering from those catalogs.... .:)

Now, of course, the STLs are out there... god, but I'm behind the times....
