Bosses bad stuff
I know that you can’t play escape cards against bosses and it says you automatically lose a level if you lose. I was wondering do you also suffer the bad stuff or roll for the bad stuff. Or is just the level loss and that it it?

Re: Bosses bad stuff
The rule in question is on page two the Munchkin Bosses rule sheet:
Quote:
However, there is no further instruction or clarifications if it is lose a Level only or Lose a Level and roll for the Bad Stuff. With that said, Devin Lewis on stream rolled for Run Away of the Bad Stuff and automatically lost a Level. Therefore, Devin is probably the only one who can clarify this rule at this time.

Thank you for all the info. I guess I will wait to see if Devin gives a final word and for now we will play it based on how the table votes lol

Re: Bosses bad stuff
Interested in how this one gets ruled on. The rules say "Instead of rolling to Run Away from the Boss, lose a level automatically." Which is implied that the lose a level overrides the bosses bad stuff.

Yeah, we totally played it wrong on camera, but it was entertaining, so I let it go. You do not have to roll to run away from the boss. You just lose the level.
