Default Phoenix form not printing Range Weapon notes

On my Character Sheet Options, I have selected the phoenix.gca form.
Next I went to the category, Melee/Ranged Attacks Tables Options.
Under General Attacks Options, I selected "Print a chart describing the meaning of special column notes in the ranged attack block".
Then under Ranged Attack Options\Print the selected optional sub-columns and I selected Notes.
Now when I print preview the sheet. the Numbers are there in the Notes column but the chart does not describe these notes mean.
I noticed this in previous phoenix sheets so either I am doing something wrong, or is was not intended to print the definition of those numerical notes.
Would be nice if it did.

The "special column notes" are those that show up within the various data columns themselves. Such as:
  • ("*") Reach: Awkward flag.
  • ("F") Parry: Fencing weapon flag.
  • ("U") Parry: Unbalanced weapon flag.
  • ("†") Strength: Two-handed weapon flag.
  • ("‡") Strength: Two-handed unreadying weapon flag.
  • ("R") Strength: Musket rest flag.
  • ("B") Strength: Attached bipod flag.
  • ("M") Strength: Mounted/tripod flag.
  • ("!") RoF: Full-auto only flag.
  • ("T") Shots: Thrown weapon flag.
  • ("i") Shots: Individual/single reload flag.
They always mean the same thing, so it's relatively easy to include charts, or chart if you select to unify the melee and ranged charts, to define them when they show up. These chart(s) have nothing to do with the numerical footnotes from the Notes column.

Unfortunately, what you're looking for, something defining the meaning of the numerical footnotes from the Notes column, which vary from table to table within the GURPS books, does not exist. This is because the data required for it, the actual definitions of those numerical footnotes, do not exist within the data files, except as a component of the trait's Description field.

If you turn on the Description field, under the Equipment and/or Load-Out blocks, you should see what I mean when looking at the description for one of the pieces of weaponry in question.

There was a discussion about adding support for this to GCA4 and the data files, but it never went anywhere, unfortunately.

Note that I did add the necessary data for this into the Basic Set and, I think, one or two other data files. However, because support never got added to GCA4 to use this data properly it never went beyond that; in order to work properly GCA really needs to collect and collate the data in a meaningful way so that the Character Sheets can then print it. Hopefully we'll have a chance to revisit this in GCA5 at some point.

Remind me over on the beta list about what I need to be looking at for this, and we'll see if we can't get that integrated at last.

GCA5 is still in (slow) development. The feature, unfortunately, will require updates that are unlikely to happen until GCA5 comes out.
