Default My Search-Fu Has Failed Me! Collaberative Game-Generator Thread

Just a few weeks ago, there was a thread on a round-robin game generator wherein people ask a question and the next person has to expand upon it, or something like that. Clearly I don't remember it well enough to successfully search for it. Anyone know where that thread is?

Do you plan on starting one? I tried one and it kinda failed, but ericthered's was a lot of fun. Just start only with one question.

Also, we named them Odin 1-5. But 1-2 is taken. I really am thinking Odin2 should be a dead world as it was created as I made a premise that was ridiculous and scientifically implausable. So what I came up with I think would be best left as the timeline's history.

We should do another one of those, they were fun. But when we do, we should have a rule that questions can't themselves add anything. You can't go "There's this thing. How do people respond to this thing?" You should instead ask "Is there a thing? I so, how do people respond to it?".

I'd actually wanted it because I was hoping to do one with my own group since it doesn't look like we'll have enough players for me to run my Ravenloft game this Friday, but I'd love to do one here--I didn't get the opportunity to take part in the first ones. I agree that the questions shouldn't add things themselves.

So...I'll start one, then. In its own thread.

ETA: Here it is.

It's definitely shaping up to be an interesting world. It's one of those things that make me wish I w as better at plotting so I could write a story set there.

Write a story from the top down. Start with an inciting event, then contemplate the results of that event. Let's give your setting 5 pages first and see what we could cook up.
