I don't think this is news to anybody, but early use of wireless tech in Asian countries ended up with numeral sequences as broad homophones for common turns-of-phrase or brand names. I think the one people might find most familiar is 2188, which in Mandarin Chinese almost sounds like 'Alibaba'.
There would be poetry in finding a cross-cultural set of numbers that has a clear meaning in both keypad English and homophone Chinese, but where something is being unintentionally misinterpreted. Or better still, where something is being willfully communicated differently to two different recipients of the same message. That might be more international espionage than game scenario fodder though. |

Well, I still use a 835374663 even if it is a 2355 74663. But switching over took me 93277.
