I can't believe it, just saw the news.
This seems so unexpected. I don't know the details of how Steve Jackson Games operates, but Andrew seemed so foundational. He was everywhere: on the forums, producing Munchkin, a visible and invisible presence of the company. Best wishes to Andrew in the great beyond and to all his loved ones in mourning. It will be hard to adjust to his absence. |

So sorry to hear this news. His passion for games and Munchkin and fans of SJGames was always apparent. He was a good man. It is a great loss.

Consider myself lucky I was able to meet him once. Incredibly welcoming guy and you could tell he loved the community. Condolences to the family and all of the SJG crew.

That's terrible news. I offer condolences to the Hackard family, to his Steve Jackson Games colleagues and to his friends. It is a profound loss to the Munchkin community.
