Hey, at least we know the project isn't stalled (the way GURPS IST 4e is...)

Still, having to wait for GURPS :Girl Genius! is like waiting for Christmas. Only they've just added a whole extra month between Nov. 30th and Dec. 1st and didn't tell anyone until Nov. 29th!

GURPS Girl Genius is the reason I bought GURPS 4th ed. in the first place. I was comfortable enough with 3rd ed, but when I found out about the planned GIRL GENIUS supplement, I decided to upgrade for when it came out.

Now, granted, I'm not sorry I switched to 4e, but still...

This is a requirement to work for Steve Jackson Games. I believe that "tease" courses are taught by Andrew and Phil, with a masters class taught by Evil Stevie.

Tis a cruel, hard company....

I always thought that belonged to the School of Performing and Creative Arts, mainly in the Department of House-Making. ;)

I thought everybody knew that - it levitates slightly above the ground, spinning wildly. With only a few additional parts it can then be used to power a death ray.

Not really. The "new releases" page is full of Munchkin, Cthulhu Dice Bags and other non-GURPS stuff. From GURPS, we get old 3rd edition stuff and lots of minor books (like GURPS City Stats). These are nice, but GURPS must move forward with major releases. Low Tech is one such book, and Girl Genius is another. Still, none of these books are on the schedule for new releases. The page already lists all releases up to October, but there is nothing to be see of any important release. I know that these stat-heavy books are complex, but they are what makes GURPS not just another RPG. In the world of the RPGs, GURPS has always been the game system with the most well-designed rules, even for complex things like vehicle creation and martial arts styles. I saw this aspect of GURPS last in Martial Arts, and hope to see it again in Low Tech and Girl Genius.

Nope it a clear example of tring to invoke Murphy's Law, what wil happen is the toast fall of the cat anyway and land butter side down, the cat will land on it's feet but only after stopping to shred your favorite shirt which you will just happen to be wearing.
