As you say, a milestone in the RPG history.
Yes, all the goodness that once was AD&D and Combat and Tactics is now GURPS and Martial Arts. And that does show how far RGPs have come.

After reading this I'm tempted to go out and buy a second copy.

Martial Arts is one of the things I really love about GURPS.

GURPS Martial Arts is an incredibly good book. It is one of those rare game books that are solid gold from cover to cover.

I know more than one person who only bought GURPS Basic and Campaigns because of that book.

(Except for that weird error on p. 107: ". . . have one or more movement point -5 left, and attempt an Acrobatics roll." Where did that freakish "-5" come from? It wasn't in the final draft!)

I just coughed up 40 bucks for my own copy. This book is so totally going to be MINE in the next few hours/days.
