Which mostly means the throwing rules are particularly incoherent when they differ. Technically, lifting ST should not increase energy at all, and therefore should actually result in reduced throwing distance at any given multiple of BL.

To accelerate 4x the mass to a given speed would require 4x the force to begin with. So you're looking at 4x the mass going at the same speed as some lighter attack. So I think you would just have 4x the force (the speed vector remains the same, only the mass has changed). I'm not sure why you're counting this twice.
