Garage sale

I was hoping someone could settle this for us. We play munchkin often and came across an issue settling the card garage sale. The card says you can choose two ITEMS from EITHER pile. We have settled that an item must have a value (or say no value). Where the issue lies is that some argue that since the card says you can choose from either pile, and that no door cards we have are items, then you can choose any door cards. Others argue that since it specifies items only, door cards that aren’t items are out. They won’t settle until they are given examples of door cards that are also items. Thanks for the help!

almost all steeds/vehicles are items (expansion 4 and after), budget steed (an hireling from expansion 5). You can take only items lol

To clarify what is being said here, Steeds are found in the Door Deck and are items.

It should be noted that Budget Steed is not an item.

unnecessary observation/opinion: Budget steed is not an errata (at least for now). That admin told that in 2009 and still now it is not been corrected and it doesn't apper in the errata (neither in FAQ or 2010 change log). (https://munchkin.game/products/games...n-5-de-ranged/)

Yeah..... that's not the reason it's not on the Errata Sheet. *deep beleaguered sigh*
