Almost the end. Including the Vermin Catcher, now with optional small, vicious dog.

Vendor [25 Points]

Advantages: 10 points chosen from Business Acumen [10/level]; Goodwife [5/level]; Street-Smart [5/level]; Talker [5/level]; Tough Guy [5/level] and Voice [10].

Skills: Fast Talk (IQ/A) [4] and Merchant (IQ/A) [4]. Two of Area Knowledge (any) (IQ/E) [2]; Cooking (IQ/A) [2]; Cooking (any specialty) (IQ/E) [2] and Streetwise (IQ/A) [2]. Three of Administration (IQ/A) [1]; Current Affairs (any) (IQ/E) [1]; Diplomacy (IQ/H) [1]; Savoir Faire (Organized crime or servant) (IQ/E) [1]; Scrounging (Per/E) [1]; Shadowing (IQ/A) [1]; Urban Survival (Per/A) [1]; any craft skill or further skills above.

Notes: I added Administration to cover vendors working in more sophisticated societies.

Vermin Catcher [25 Points]

Advantages: 10 points in Per [5/level]; Absolute Direction [5]; Acute Hearing
[2/level]; Acute Vision [2/level]; Animal Friend [5/level]; Night Vision [1/level]; Pet [1]; Rapid Healing [5]; Resistant to Disease +3 or +8 [3 or 5] and Wealth [varies].

Skills: Animal Handling (selected vermin) (IQ/A) [2]; Poisons (IQ/A) [2]; Traps (IQ/A) [2] and Urban Survival (Per/A) [2]. +1 to one of Animal Handling, Poisons, Traps or Urban Survival [2]. Knife (DX/E) [1] and either Spear (DX/A) [1] or Polearm (DX/A) [1]. Five of Animal Handling (any allied predator) (IQ/A); Area Knowledge (any) (IQ/E) [1]; Carpentry (IQ/E); Climbing (DX/A) [1]; First Aid/TL (IQ/E); Merchant (IQ/A) [1]; Savoir - Faire (any) (IQ/E) [1]; Scrounging (Per/E) [1]; Streetwise (IQ/A) [1] and Veterinary /TL (IQ/H) [1].

Notes: Pet is a Perk giving you possession of a small, ordinary animal as essentially Signature Gear. I’d also grant +1 to Animal Handling with the Pet. If the character lacks the appropriate Animal Handling skill, I’d allow a straight IQ roll for it with the Pet only.

On which basis I'd suggest making Animal Handling (pet species) at least an option with this template.

I thought I had but apparently not. I'll add it.

Here's a link to my Google doc of Historical Folks specialist lenses, with appendices that might someday be finished. If you want to get everything in one place.

The blame ultimately belongs to Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay, but don't forget that many historical vermin catchers came with a ferret or possibly a mongoose (with small and vicious being implied in both cases).

No need to update the template, however.

Technically the optional Perk is an undefined pet, so it could be a mongoose, ferret, swamp dragon, etc.

Thanks very much! At risk of asking a real naive, noob question, is there an easy way to import that into GCS?

Someone would need to make the GCS files... which I've been thinking about doing, but haven't

I might have done it myself but unfortunately lack the skill set.
