Re: Corco's Villa (IC)
The demon is here, in the guise of a security guard who is sleeping in a storage rather than in his proper bed.

Well I was deferring for Matrix Walker
I order the devourer drones to attack the sleeping demon and start slashing away with the vibroblades. Quote:

Re: Corco's Villa (IC)
Sorry - Been a busy week...
Before launching attacks, is there any other lore to lean on to make an additional verification? Or detect masking magic? Just in case some magic is fouling my sense... I'd hate to slaughter some guard who was spelled with a false aura as a decoy. Quote:

Re: Corco's Villa (IC)
V looks over the guard, trying to verify its status as a demon. The sure way is to cut a piece of the guard's hair and watch it grow back nearly instant, or try to take off the coat, and watch it stick to the guard's back because its part of the demon.
V runs a detect at point blank range, and determines that the signal is coming from the guard himself... a false signal would be very expertly applied, and none of the common tools Telruthians have would have such an effect. So you can verify it perfectly with light physical interaction, or take what you have as "really good as it is"

Vassarious attempts to stealthfully approach and snip a bit of hair or uniform from the sleeping suspect,

Re: Corco's Villa (IC)
The guard's eyes go wide, and then start turning yellow as he begins to stand, and his body begins to shift..but he is restricted by the close confines, and as he transforms into a hulking muscled form, he hits the limits of the room.
(Active transformation as a stunt failed... this turn he only gets to concentrate).
