Pass the Pigs is fun, and takes up very little space.

I find Guillotine to be an excellent standby. Simple enough to teach, easy set up and breakdown, doesn't need that much room, generally popular in theme with everyone but Bourbon Dynasty Revanchists. And no dice to lose never to be seen again.

Excellent plan. My backpack carries a Cthulhu die, a full suite of gaming dice, and a pack of cards. It's been tapped a few times.

I carry Doom Machine, Orchard, Sprawlopolis, dice and cards in my backpack. Also have Zombie Dice at work.

Used to keep an 800-count box to throw in the car for camping trips. The thing that's gone missing is my 6-suit deck of cards, which does such wonderful things for 3-player games!

In my satchel: (1) Doom Machine, (2) Rove. Both are fun and fast solo games.

In a car, I'll often pack Under Falling Skies in the trunk, but it's also solo. The people I travel with usually won't be lured from their iPhones. Last time I travelled, I found Pandemic Cthulhu and Elder Sign were good choices, because I was able to play solo and when someone became interested, they could play too.

We keep dice for Random Fun Generator 1/2, regular cards and a rotating card game on hand when we go out. Our friends really enjoy playing the RFG dice games for the first time.
