Default [INIFINITE WORLDS] "Harn" ..What Quantum??

Alright, If I EVER get to run an Infinite Worlds game or campaign , I've been thinking of using the world of "HARN" as one of the Earths the players run across.
If you look at the map of that world - it is very obviously an Earth analog, but one without North and South America as Continents. The resof 'our" continents are sort of THERE.

What Quantum level do most of you think HARN should be in?

Would it be closer to Centrum or Homeline??

Any other ideas for using HARN World in conjunction with Inifinite Worlds ??

Hmm... No Americas, but Eurasia, Africa, Australia, and Antarctica are there? What's the rest of the world like? (I've not seen the source you're getting HARN from.)

That depends on what sort of parachronic interlopers you want in the campaign.

If Transdimensional Space Nazis are to be a recurring threat, put it in Q3.
if you want it mostly to be Homeline researchers, put it in Q4.
If you want Homeline organized crime and/or clueless tourists, put it in Q5.
If you want cold war struggle with Centrum, put in Q6 (where Infinity is at an advantage) or Q7 (where Centrum has easier access).
The Cabal, of course, Is Everywhere.

The quantum you pick will indicate the most common sort of parachronic visitor, but you can use nexus gates, banestorms or other one-off or rare means of parachronic travel.

Five or six years ago it was possible to buy this fold out booklet thing that had the HARN world maps included and TWO books about the world and Solar System of Harn.

When looking at the greater world map inside one of books ...wait, just found my copy of it.
This game product was published by Columbia Games Inc. ...and the world was referred to as "Kethira", HARN is just a small island continent - taking up the spot where the British Isles are on our Earth.

The Venarian Sea takes up the spot that we would think of as the Mediterranean. Where North America and South America miught be is a north-south going thin continent called "Kamerand".

Thank You tratcliff!!,

I love that the wikipedia article includes a link to the GURPS conversion page . Thats one of the reasons I thought of using HARN at all. Roleplayer (Snail-mail!! magazine) had a HARN conversion article in it years ago - I think I still have that around here somewhere.

The religions of Kethira already acknowledge six other worlds. Perhaps the Earthmasters were once capable of interdimensional travel (possibly bringing humans from an echo to a very distant parallel), and some of their gateways are still intermittently functional.

Perhaps give the Kethrian Family relatively easy jumps between them, but difficult connections to enter or leave.

Personally I'd just keep it in a pocket dimension of its own. Failing that I think that I would run it as there is no direct way to get there. You have to go through one of the six connected side planes.
