And then, of course, there's the Alea and its possible later productions (under Paraconveyor, IW p.30) which seem to imply Q0 IS a barrier, if only a 'mach' barrier.

Not to mention that some could posit the possibility that the predominance of echoes can reflect back and eliminate or push further away any worlds which don't resonate the same way and that weaker echos can just fade away or be subsumed by a stronger echo.

So by shifting your echoes away, we will weaken your world, and if we shift enough of them away your world will start to condense into the ones which are left, until in the end your world either fades away or comes reflecting back to echo the stronger paradigm which were your former echoes . . . Muahahahaha!!!
