Hide has been banned for two weeks for ignoring moderator instructions and using a sexist term. The length of the ban reflects the fact that the office is closed and most staff are on vacation until January.

evileeyore and RevBob have each been banned for a week for making a nice Star Wars discussion actively unpleasant.

To all posters: when you realize that you're getting annoyed as someone else's posts, that's the time to step away from the discussion (and possibly consider employing your Ignore List). No one is scoring the conversations and there's no medal for "winning" the argument. Be the bigger person and let it go.
