Well, I made the last run at life support with those fires days ago. They're pretty distributed across decks 19F, 18B, & 17D. I suppose if we wanted to take prisoners, deck 19 would probably be the place to do it, being at the bottom of the ship and all.

So, since you're already familiar you're going to do it again?

Pacifica, do you want to take the command center you usually work in (C) or the other one (F)?

Which one isn't Zybo's? Also, do you have another map with the details of the command center? Or how are you going to run this?

The aft command center at 9C is Zybo's.

I was planning on doing mostly theater of the mind, with the maps as support.

I've got the original map files, so I can go in and add details to the command centers if we need to. Especially doors, hatches and so forth. If things devolve into a tactical shooting brawl, or you need planning details so that they don't.

Alright, how much time has passed since we ""started"" the operation?
How are we going to mobilize the forces w/o starting combat in the corridors?

Zybo isn't away from his command center, right?

You are two and a half hours into the shift, and daymar and Hua started their hunt probably an hour and a bit ago. Pacifica left Nejora at the establishment 40 minutes ago.

That's a fantastic question: perhaps one of your comrades has an answer?

Zybo is on his off hours right now, just like Pacifica, who he leads.

My thinking on this is that the crew is unlikely to interfere with security unless it is obvious that they are acting against the interests of the ship. If most crewmen see a larger-than-normal security force moving with purpose, I imagine they will think it's to deal with a problem, and get out of their way.

Here's a roll against Spacer (not sure if that's the best skill) to see if Daymar's impression is accurate:

Spacer

3d6 <= 16
4 + 3 + 4 = 11 ... success

The impression is accurate: a large group of security moving is something you want to stay away from. The exception to this is the officers, who mostly expect to have a little advance warning about these things... though not necessarily, in the case of the officers.
