With this perk, tapping your fingers at a service counter will compel an NPC staff member to immediately approach you and ask "Can I help you". However, their Reaction roll to you will be at -1 as will any Influence skill you attempt on them.

Amorphous Backstory

Between adventures, you may trade traits that are considered "background traits" (GM's prerogative; consider social traits and skills like hobbies and area knowledge) for traits of equal value. For example, you could trade a point in Area Knowledge (Seattle) for a different Area Knowledge, a Hobby Skill, a Contact, or to buy off a background disadvantage. In exchange for this difficult to change modular ability, the GM can make changes to your "background traits" at will.
