Sure, as long as you don't mind spending 3-4 times on a game instead of the current price. The average wage in China for a factory worker is roughly $5 an hour where the average wage in US is $40k a year or roughly $20 an hour. Then you have to take into account benefits. In China, companies aren't required to pay any benefits, whereas in US companies have to pay social security, insurance, etc. While shipping within the US is cheaper, it's simply not cheap enough to overcome all the other costs. Fact of the matter is, even with overseas shipping going up, it is still cheaper than manufacturing a game in the US.

Amazon and other print on demand services for books are designed around small orders, a couple dozen or less. Once you start looking at large orders, it becomes extremely cost prohibitive.

You can already go to DriveThruRPG and say "please use a printing house in the UK or USA to PoD my book, subtract the PoD price, and give me about two-thirds of what's left for each one you sell". That may well not be enough of a margin to keep a company of full-timers going.
