Re: GURPS 2021 PDF Challenge
I think you're right. Is it too late to change it? After all, skipping the intervening numbers would be appropriate since Gates let you skip intervening space, and Gates are sufficiently cool that they deserve an auspicious spot in the series, like entry 99.

Re: GURPS 2021 PDF Challenge
"Twists"* is about chocolate confectionry in Action games. It will do for candy what Tricked-Out Rides did for cars. Salty? +1 CF. Crunchy? +1 CF. Loaded with enough sugar to power a group of eight toddlers for eight days? +3 CF (+4 if its not HFCS).
* Twist is a brand of Swedish candy

Re: GURPS 2021 PDF Challenge
It takes the Action series to new places, focusing on 1950's-60's-style monster invasion flicks, with details on the various moves PCs can use to defeat the blobs, 50-foot tall women, and radioactive ants in the inevitable climactic dance-off battle. Detailed mechanics are presented for the Swim, Mashed Potato, the Stroll, Martian Hop, and Watusi in addition to the titular classic.
(What? It's not like Peter Quill just made it up. It was totally a thing, sadly lacking in RPG treatment until now.) |

Re: GURPS 2021 PDF Challenge
Surely Twists moves the setting of Action to 19th century London, where you play a band of Dickensian Orphans who are going to get "some more" by hook or by crook.

Re: GURPS 2021 PDF Challenge
I believe these hints should be public, and viewable by all.

Facebook refuses to show me the page unless I log in, and, since I refuse to create a Facebook account, that puts us at an impasse. Can anyone provide a summary?

<cut and paste> n case the graphic is too tiny for you: The titles shown are Dungeon Fantasy 22: Gates (fantasy campaign resource from Peter V. Dell'Orto), Action 8: Twists (modern-day campaign resource from y.t.), The Green Madonna (historical adventure from David L. Pulver), and Space Atlas: Grissom (sci-fi setting from Roger Burton West). I'm not cleared to share the remaining eight titles just yet, but I can reveal that they were written by Douglas H. Cole, S.A. Fisher, Phil Masters, Christopher R. Rice, Matt Riggsby (×2), Carolyn Ivy Stein & Steve Stein, and y.t. (yes, me again). I'm also willing to tease that they're for the Action, Dungeon Fantasy (×3), Encounters, Hot Spots, How to Be a GURPS GM, and Infinite Worlds series.
