His water appears to be intact, as does his pack. He's lost some time, but he's not really sure how much time. Or how relevant it is in the grand scheme of things.

Following the wash is at the least a good way to not get lost. He does appear to be going down it, and getting closer to its end -- which should mean water of some sort.

As the sun is going down, he sees something truly scary -- another river of ants. This one MUCH bigger than the first. He's not sure how wide it is, but the ants are the big ones that he saw chase him down the wash earlier. A long with a number of smaller ones around their feet.

At the sight he utters, "Oh heck no. Not again." He'll back up from the river of ants as much as he can before it gets so dark that he can't hardly tell what he's doing anymore and hope for the best as he tries to set up camp in the near dark to dark.

The ravine in many ways turns out to be a great camp site. His water is starting to run low though, and his preserves are running low as well. He has perhaps two days of them left before he runs out.

He hopes for the best and keeps going because the only other option he can think of is hanging out in an open pit mine with a well and a slew of skeletal bodies. Now there's a place to inspire confidence in ones survival.

Which direction will he go? back up the wash he's been following? or back and hoping that the ants aren't still there?

The direction he'd been heading away from the open pit mine. Hoping he doesn't come across anymore hazards.

If he was in the wash he'll get out wary of flash floods.

He tries to keep an eye out for any place that looks like it might provide some shelter from rain. If he recalls having passed anything recently that fits the bill he heads there if it looks like it's going to rain soon.

If he doesn't spot or recall anything then he'll see about setting up his tent a bit before he thinks the rain will start.

There is nothing better than trees, so Alexander starts setting up the tent. He's never set up one like this before, so it ends up looking like a pretty sorry tent -- more of a tarp draped over poles. its shelter though.

The rain comes as more of a storm than rainfall. Lightening flashes, and thunder reverberates. Then the water comes, and hard. Its not long before the tent is dripping in a few places.

Green will endure it as best he can while he rests and waits for it to pass. If he hasn't already he'll place his bucket(s) outside hoping to top it/them off.
