Lost In Dreams [Yolanda]

The "shoulders" are about six or seven feet off the ground, but they are heaving wildly, as its walking with three limbs, not four, and the creature is relatively low slung (). The stump sticking up from the center of the creature sticks up another five feet beyond that.

She moves in closer. This next jab is from the jaw thing. Its not a bite, but much closer to a punch. She sidesteps, but barely.

OCC: You are aware she's moving in towards something the size of an elephant? Also, giving long term attack plans is perfectly fine in this game giving last turn, then telling what she'll do after she gets close, for example.

After the punch-like attack breezes past her face, Yolanda decides being so close isn't such a good idea. Seeing what she thinks could be an opening, she turns and runs.

((Action: Move as far as she can. Dodge and retreat, if it manages to successfully attack again. Assuming she's still on her feet for her next action, she will sprint and continue to do so until as long as it looks like she's getting away))

Yolanda runs away from the massive creature as quickly as she can. The creature follows her, but slowly, bellowing that weird sound after her.

Yolanda isn't looking back at the source of the bellowing. Instead she continues to sprint as fast she can away from the creature, with hopes that it will lose interest if she can just put enough distance between it and herself.

Yolanda runs for all she is worth. It turns out the wild animal is faster. Something hits her in the back, and she hits the ground. The thing passes over her, fortunately not hitting her with any limbs beyond the first. Her ribs ache. The thing stops 20 feet away, but doesn't turn around. It holds completely still

Yolanda presses her palms against the ground, ready to push herself up. However, she doesn't try to get up quite yet. Instead she lays there watching to see what the creature will do first.

The thing doesn't move. It just stands there. Not grazing, but standing motionless.

[Litvyak]

Yolanda carefully picks herself up off the ground and scurries to the nearest concealment she can find.

As she starts picking herself up, the thing bellows it weird sound again, and starts moving towards her.

"Oh <expletive>," Yolanda exclaims, and she starts to run.
