Lot of stuff in there is useful for RPM in general.

Christopher, is this the same as the one in How to Be a GURPS GM: Ritual Path Magic?

Yes. It's in there I do believe.

I thought that the problem is solved, when heared about the buffing rule, bt now one question have arized.

How does the rule helps with item buffing? Yes, if I buffed my Dodge and, say, Jump rolls, I couldn't buff myself more, according to the rule. But it seems that it doesn't prevent me from buffing my weapon for attack and damage (by the way, +10 to hit with a pistol is a lesser or greater effect, if I use Control Energy?), my clothes to get DR, my boots to walk on air and so on. And I could maintain those effects indefinitely, which again seems like a problem.

How would you solve it? Or maybe I am wrong at something?

Correct. For items they get two as well. There are two solutions: 1) say that you get the effects of two buffing spells no matter the subject or 2) Do what you're supposed to do and have enemies with dispel magic spells ready to go.

RPM counters are supposed to be used just like all other magic system with their counters. If the PCs are not regularly facing foes who can dispel their magic or counter it in some way every couple of sessions you're going to have this problem.

Anything beyond +5 is a greater effect in any case. I personally have it so for missile weapons anything beyond ACC is a greater and for melee weapons anything beyond +2 is greater.

Yes. You could.

Seems like a good ruling, thanks!
